Our time at Chuck and Linda's will remain a fixture in our memories from this trip. The cabin was delightful with a personality all its own. It was perfectly situated between west glacier and the smaller towns outside the park so that we had the privacy and separateness we wanted but the convenience of the towns amenities and quick access to the park. It's very well kept; and is clean, cozy, and is packed full of extras we weren't expecting. We will definitely book the cabin again the next time we find ourselves in the area.

Fantastic! Private, well equipped, and thoughtful extras everywhere (even bear spray!) Only a few miles to the west entrance of Glacier National Park. It is the perfect place to stay for a family vacation.

Linda and Chuck were very welcoming with a stocked fridge and a bottle of wine. Could not have asked for a more friendly way to arrive. Area is very accessible to West Glacier and a quick lesser traveled Highway #2 to East Glacier. Quiet area to relax with occasional train sounds and jogging paths nearby. Was concerned about lack of WiFi but good AT&T mobile coverage and access to WiFi in West Glacier. Very accommodating and responsive to requests.

Our stay at the cabin was really perfect. All the little details: the twin sized mattress put out for our toddler, the condiments, milk, even coffee in the kitchen, ... It's very close to West Glacier, so we could hike all day and come back to a relaxing little oasis. If we find ourselves vacationing in this area again we would love to stay here again. Thank you!

My son and I spent four nights at the Deluxe Cabin in late June. It's the perfect base for seeing the wonderful sights near Glacier NP. It's only a short drive to the park entrance as well as to the nearby towns, and we easily visited the park four or five times during our stay to hike the trails, enjoy the lakes and streams and of course drive the famous road to Logan Pass and beyond. The cabin itself was wonderful. We found it quiet, secluded and peaceful. The cabin is well-stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen, the bedrooms and bathroom. We especially liked the satellite TV and separate beds where we could relax and sleep in peace. We would definitely recommend this cabin to friends traveling to the Glacier NP area.

The cabin is move in ready. All the odds and ends are there, fridge basics also. Add only your clothes and main food items and your good to go. Fit 4 of us fine. Enjoyed my big brother bumping his head a few times on some sloping walls in futon room. Plenty of small cridders to share the front yard with (doe with triplets also made a daily appearance)

As close as you can get to Glacier National Park without all the crowds! This sweet little house is large enough for 8( we stayed with our 6 kids) and cozy enough for a romantic getaway for 2. The views of the golf course are beautiful out of the large windows and the road in front of the house is perfect and safe for a quiet walk or bike ride along the Flathead River. Our kids ride their bikes and skated along the quiet smooth road and there were no worries about traffic. When we were not hiking( my favorite hike for families in the Park is Avalance Lake) or canoeing, the kids played frisbee on the golf course right outside the back door. A perfect little house for a visit to Glacier National Park!

Catherine made us feel very welcome - and the breakfast was amazing! The room was clean and comfortable with a private bathroom, and everything we needed for our weekend stay. The location is very great if you're looking to spend time in the park - it's just 2 miles from the entrance on the the West Glacier side. Only 20 minutes to Whitefish where there's a number of cute restaurants and bars.

Catherine was very professional and welcoming. You can tell she has been doing this for a long time. She pulled out a giant map and many pictures to show us exactly what each of our planned trips would entail. She recommended what to do and what to skip to make the most of our two days in Glacier. Breakfast was great, have to try the cinnamon roll!

This B&B is a great place to stay in West Glacier. The location is just a few minute drive from the park entrance. Catherine, Becky, and Ramon are really nice and so helpful to people new to the park. The rooms were quiet. Last, but certainly not least, the daily breakfasts are a perfect fuel for hikers exploring the park.

We loved staying at Catherine's. It was a bit like going back in time, but we were so comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast was out of this world delicious.

Awesome stay! All the reviews were spot on-- especially regarding the homey-ness and delicious and abundant breakfast. Very easy to find right off of highway 2, and only 2 miles from the entrance to Glacier. Highly recommend staying here.

This was a cozy house! The bed was cozy, and everything was clean. The best part was the kitchen staff, especially Ramon. Breakfast was amazing, and offers so many options that everyday was special and fresh. He answered all questions about what to do locally and went out of his way to help complete our trip in nature! Kathy was super helpful and patient with all our questions and helped set aside a breakfast for us because we left early. This place made you feel like you were back at grandma's :)

This B&B is well-located for the West Glacier entrance into Glacier National Park, only a few miles to the west. However, the physical address is not recognized by navigation systems, so we had to drive back to W. Glacier so we could get the cell service to call for better directions. The name of the resort is San-Suz-Ed. It is a combination camping, RV park and sprawling B&B. We were met by Catherine, who checked us in and gave us a map and suggestions for our visit. The physical premises are sort of like staying at Grandma's house---it is filled with tchotchkes and the beds were soft and creaky and covered with chenille bedspreads. We had a room with an en suite bath with a very nice shower head and good water pressure, although it appears that some of the rooms share a bath. The most amazing element of this B&B is the spectacular breakfasts----six kinds of fresh fruit, bacon and sausage and ham, veggie omelets, and a choice of pancakes, waffles or French toast, all in huge quantities. Again, this is like being at Grandma's house! Catherine was the central presence and always offered good advice. The resort has been in her family for 50 years. She also provided ice for us each day for our cooler. There are laundry facilities available. We felt well taken care of and appreciated how close San-Suz-Ed was to beautiful Glacier National Park.

Wow, this home was nothing short of amazing! My husband and I felt right at home in this beautiful house right IN Glacier National Park! From the filled kitchen ready to be cooked in, to the soft sheets and towels, Gail has not overlooked anything in making the home comfortable for guests. One of our favorite parts was the screened porch that let us eat our dinner bug free! Lake McDonald was just a short walk away, which made for easy evening visits. We highly recommend this home to anyone who is looking for an unforgettable trip to Glacier National Park!

Our family of 7 had the most enjoyable stay at this cabin home property. The cabin itself is very well appointed and truly cozy. The grounds were beautiful and fun. Our family fed the horses, fished the lake, went out in the boats and raft and just wandered the grounds. One of our all time favorites though was just enjoying long chats and meals on the porch while we watched the views! This property is very close to the west entrance of Glacier. We went hiking almost every day! We also did local horse back riding, rafting, antique shopping, and of course eating out! Diana, our on site host, was so extremely helpful and enjoyable. She was there if we needed anything or had any local questions but she also gave us complete privacy. She's a true gem. This place is a wonderful vacation home for a family. We hope to come here again for sure!!

A welcoming host with a great kitchen staff. An active but definitely safe, quiet area perfect for families with kids or campers looking for comfortable facilities- and Glacier Park's west entrance is just a short drive around the corner! If you want to use the laundry room, make sure to bring quarters and your own detergent and softener.

The room was clean. Breakfast was good. A train whistle woke me one night. There was no alarm clock in the room. I assume that would have been provided. We had a change in plans. Host would not refund the money for the fourth day of our stay, although we cancelled before the three day time period that was specified. It was very difficult to reach this listing by telephone in advance to change our plans. We tried several times. The host said they are "too busy" to answer the phone. I would not recommend staying here.

Staying at the BnB was a bonus during our visit to Glacier National Park. Catherine was so welcoming and Room 6 was a great spot to unwind after a day in the park. Catherine's hearty breakfast fueled us for a day of hiking. The power went out on our second night but we knew it wouldn't deter Catherine from providing a full breakfast. What a treat to stay at her BnB.

I was greeted on my arrival as they were expecting me for a while! I was shown around and the room was configured for me as I needed a small desk for my laptop. I couldn't have asked more from the folks here!

Catherine was so welcoming, I felt like I was at a family member's home. She helped me to find just the right sites to see in the area! She was very knowledgable and funny!! I really enjoyed my time at this B&B, it was charming and very quiet. Just what I needed to relax. Thank you Catherine and Sherry!!!

I am really torn as I write this review. The actual tent was exactly as stated. Very cool space with carpet, clean bed, and a comfortable place to stay after a long day hiking in Glacier Park. Plus, the people working on site were very friendly and helpful. However.... I am providing a low rating because I feel the description and story on this place is VERY misleading. I thought this was going to be a single tent, maybe near a few other teepees, way up in a remote, private, quiet area of the Montana wilderness. For such a steep price per night, that's sure what I expected. When we pulled in, we were surprised to find this is essentially just a campground with 50 sites. Each of the 50 sites has either a teepee or safari tent on it. They are crammed very close together, there are a lot of kids running around, and this is not what I expected. Plus, the campground is NOT remote. It is RIGHT on the highway, and they supply ear plugs on the bed side tables because it is so loud. During my stay I emailed the host a few times, but never got a sympathetic response or resolution. So that added to my frustration. Last, based on the description, you would think Sarah is running this little setup on her own. Actually, Glacier Under Canvas is a large business, and they have operations in Glacier, Yellowstone, and other places as well it seems. This is not a quaint mom-and-pop operation as it reads. At the end of the day, the space was fine, but my expectations were not at all in line with the experience, and the price is WAAAAY too high for what I received.

We loved our stay at San Suz Ed! The location is right outside the entrance to Glacier National Park. Our hosts were so accommodating, staying up for us when our flight was delayed, orienting us to the fun things to do in the area, and making sure we had a delicious breakfast even when we left early to explore the park. On the night of the Perseid meteor shower we popped out the back door in the middle of the night and were able to see the amazing night sky with the Milky Way and shooting stars without having to even put our shoes on. We highly recommend Catherine's place!

Overall it was a functional place to stay for good price, near Glacier. Pros: The host was nice enough and, upon arrival, provided a tour. Breakfast was better than most free hotel meals. Catherine came around at breakfast and said hi to everyone. Bathroom was a good size and had plenty of towels. Cons: Our room and bed were well-loved and outdated. I'm used to a "B&B" being a destination environment where I'd plan to return (or maybe have a romantic time); this was a functional sleeping space, like a home-based Motel 8. Wished I would've asked more questions about our room for 4 people - we had a full bed plus children's bunk bed. For us ladies, it was ok, but for hosting anyone over 150 lbs it wouldn't be a good fit. Prior to arrival I called for directions and the host was gruff - not quite the warm welcome I received online. Again, overall it was a place to stay, near Glacier.

We felt just like family coming home after a long journey. The whole house is very, very clean and neat.

We found the property layout to be a little confusing at first, but after a day we were fine. It's cozy, comfortable and very CLEAN. Catherine and Becky were great hosts, showing us the property and what to do in the surrounding area. They were accommodating in every way. The breakfasts that were served up were excellent!! The important thing we need to say is we would definitely stay there again! PS: try Catherine's Huckleberry Pie.. it was the best!

Catherine and her helpers make every effort to provide a nice place to stay. They seem willing to respond to whatever needs develop in a timely way. My Room 4 was just right for one person. The room was cozy, clean, and quiet. A nice touch was the availability of robes & PJs. The only not-so-nice feature is that the bathroom is across the hall. It is reserved for exclusive use of Room 4, but it's still not great to have to cross the hall in the middle of the night. I didn't try the breakfasts because I needed to be on my way each day by 7 am and breakfast is not served till 8 am. Another nice feature was a living room with big screen TV and recliners. I would recommend this place to others.

As soon as we arrived, Becky gave us a tour of the property and showed us our reserved room. The room description in the original post was quite accurate. I informed Becky that I was a vegetarian and she made sure that there were enough options for me at breakfast the next morning. There was a great spread at breakfast and is not to be missed at San-Suz-Ed! The staff including Sheri was very welcoming and made sure we had all we wanted. We met Catherine at breakfast. She was splendid host and we instantly felt at home. This greatgrandmother has been living at this place for over fifty years and knows a lot (which is an understatement) about Glacier National Park. I cannot recommend this place highly enough! If I'm ever going back to Montana, I will absolutely try to stay here again. It is also very well located close to many great hikes and other activities.
