Het kasteel is niet chic en vrijstaand zoals op de foto's te zien is. Het is vervallen en helemaal ingebouwd tussen de woonhuizen. Het appartement is wel oké, maar het meubilair verouderd en gedateerd. De trap is niet erg geschikt voor kleine kinderen of honden.

The house was very nice and clean, everything was present. Jutta and her husband are very friendly and helpful. The place is located on the edge of town (not to far though) so it is very quiet. We stayed here for seeing various castles and ruins as it is a good central place. I would highly recommend the place!

Bei der Ankunft bin ich sehr freundlich empfangen worden. Mir wurden alle Informationen bezüglich Wohnungdetails und Umfeld übermittelt. Die Wohnung entspricht genau den Angaben im Internet. Besonders gut fand ich, dass im Kühlschrank etwas zu finden war. Internetzugang (WLAN) funktioniert einwandfrei. Gerne komme ich wieder.

Sabine ist eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberin. Die Kommunikation über unseren Aufenthalt war super gelaufen. Wir sind sehr freundlich empfangen, und die Erklärung der Wohnung & route war 100% Darüber könnten wir unsere MTB's in der privaten Garage setzen(SUPER)! Sicher bis nächsten Mal!

We had a great stay! The hosts were very pleasant and friendly. The description is accurate, the wifi is good, nice and complete kitchen, nice appartement overall.

A wonderful, studio-style flat in a village just outside Koblenz. This one was just a bit pricier than some of the other similar places we stayed, but everything is clearly very new and carefully built, so you can see why. Spotlessly clean, modern and everything worked perfectly. The hosts definitely thought this one through: the kitchen area is equipped with everything you need to cook there, they provide information on the local sights and are very happy to talk through any questions you may have. And of course the beds were amazingly comfortable! Diana and Timo were very accommodating hosts, helping us modify the reservation when something unexpected came up, and were very welcoming when we finally met them in person. Location-wise, the village is ideal if you have a car - but bus services are infrequent and there is no local train station, so plan accordingly!

We stayed here twice and enjoyed both stays. Diana was friendly, helpful, and flexible with check-in times. The apartment was super clean, comfortable, and warm. A nice touch was the fresh fruit and sparkling water that Diana provided. It was a pleasure to stay in such a nice place and we highly recommend this apartment to anyone staying in the Koblenz area!

Small but lovely apartment in cosy Koblenz Lay. Very well furnished and stocked with everything to cook a basic meal. Diana gave us a warm welcome and was very helpful with some small requests. She even brought out a play mat and toys for our 8 months old. Not much to do in Lay and access to the apartment without a car would be difficult. Definitely a great place for a quite home away from home or base for day trips in the area.

Diana is a great host. The house is adorable, everything is brand new and very well maintained. The house is in a quiet residential area on the hill. Couldn't ask for anything better :)

Although this place was out of the city centre and located in a humble village, the place was modern, spacious for 2 and most importantly very clean. We enjoyed the tranquility and the sights of this village and it was also easily accessible to the city centre by bus. Diana was also very helpful in accommodating to our needs and communication went really smooth. It's a wonderful place and would strongly recommend to anyone who wants to have a laid back yet modern living lifestyle!

We felt at Robert's house very well. Robert is a very friendly and reliable host. The guest rooms and the whole house were very clean and well maintained. The huge terrace is perfect to enjoy coffee under the morning sun. The parking lot in front of the house was also not unimportant. The village Maria Roth is very quiet and is located relatively close to Burg Eltz, which was our final destination.

Superb stopover, the room and the common rooms are large and comfortable, very nice terrace.

Host met us at the door, walked us through the rooms and gave us the key. We didn't see him again, although he was available downstairs in his home. On my way to Switserland had I a one night stop at Robert`s place. Hemade me feel at home right away. I could use the whole apartement where I was the only guest. Robert had three rooms and a shared kitchen, bathroom, living and big balcony . The place ist Close to the Highway 61 and close to Koblenz. A very quiet place for a very affordable price

Robert is a very friendly host and I enjoyed the few unfortunately too few days very much! Maria Roth is a lovely spot, with me Dieblich has fallen more in the valley. This is off about 4 -5 km from Maria Roth.

The room was very quiet, spacious and clean. There was even the possibility next to the bathroom to be able to use a living room. Wi-Fi was available. Robert was also very helpful and nice, especially at check in, which has but a bit difficult in the dark. Overall a nice stay!

Maria war eine tolle Gastgeberin. Zur Begrüßung gab es eine Flasche ihres leckeren "Hausweins" und auch eine Kiste Mineralwasser stand bereit. Bei Fragen war sie stets bemüht uns behilflich zu sein und wir durften uns sogar die privaten Fahrräder ausleihen, weil der Fahrradverleih während unseres Aufenthaltes leider geschlossen war. Das Haus ist ausreichend groß und gut ausgestattet. Die Wärmekabine war abends nach einer langen Wanderung/Fahrradtour wunderbar zum entspannen und wieder aufwärmen. Alles in einem ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt!

Had a great stay in Martins place. Martin is very friendly and helpful and his house is beautiful. We were welcome to walk around in his backyard, which has a great view on the river and to use his private parking space, so parking was no problem.

Martin's house is typical and full of charm. He is a welcoming host, and gave us from his time to make a visit of his home: a real museum full of history.

Martin's place is a good combination of modern and historic, we were impressed by the artistic atmosphere and the tranquilness of the place. Definitely the place is a heaven in summer time given the big garden and close to the river. Just one thing we find the teppich is not very clean and maybe thats where we get allergic from. But in general I would definitely recommend Martin's place, we were impressed by her library too!

Ich habe den Aufenthalt in dem charmanten und historischen Ambiente sehr genossen. Es war alles da, was ich benötigte. Die Einrichtung ist "epochengerecht", alles war sehr sauber. Den Check-in hat Martin sehr unkompliziert gestaltet. Er war sehr flexibel und hilfsbereit und jederzeit zu erreichen.

Op terugreis uit Frankrijk een nacht aan de Moezel bij Martin gelogeerd. Een fantastische ervaring, vriendelijke ontvangst, grote kamer met een kleine douche en een keukentje. Op loopafstand een paar gezellige restaurants. Heerlijk rustig, mooie omgeving; een aanrader!

Elke is such a passionate and helpful host which is so great. Her house is very clean & nice, located in a lovely town nearby several wineries and restaurant. Patrick made me feel most welcome. The intro to "my home" for only one night was short but sufficient. The most important for me is that all is clean and it was spic & span. It's like a little apartment: private entrance, adequate room with bathroom and a tiny kitchen with all necessary appliances for those who will use it (I just glanced around - did not have time to buy groceries etc. for one night). There is a Hotel nearby, the only one in this little very quiet village, with excellent food; that's what I used. There is also ample parking space across from Patrick's house. There is Wifi (with an enormously long password), plus TV in the room. Koblenz center is about 18 km away. Nothing negative about my experience, really.

Patrick is a very nice host- welcoming and polite. The apartment was superb - clean, comfortable, with a lot of attention to small details, looks even better then the photos! We had everything we needed to feel at home! The location is unique- at the edge of the forest in a small and beautiful town. Patrick has a folder with a lot of relevant tips and he's happy to share his ideas about what to do in the area.

In the Christa and Joseph's house we spent a wonderful week. Apartments is bright and clean and roomy. Separate entrance at ground floor. Free parking on the street right near the house. Quiet neighborhood and scenic places around. Ten minutes drive to the Koblenz Altstadt and 5 min to good supermarket. Fantastic places along Mosel and Rhein nearby. Hosts are very friendly and late arrival was not a big problem. It was very nice to find some complimentary drinks in a fridge and coffee that are always valuable for a first moment when you come to a new place. The kitchen has all nesessary – equipment and tableware, good filter coffee maker. The hosts also kindly told us about local sights. WLAN works not very fast, but enough for most of the tasks. We would be happy have taken advantage of this apartment again and surely recommend it.

A very lovely place to stay! The flat is bright, clean, and cozy. Even the sofa bed in the living room is very comfortable! Plus, the neighbourhood is quiet. We could rest well after a long day of visit in the wonderful area. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking a proper meal! There is a big supermarket nearby too! Christa was quite ill during our stay. It was a pity that we didn't have chance to meet. However, her husband Josef was there to greet us and provide us with useful information. He is really nice and approachable!

We have visited Rita's apartment twice and everything was as the last time super. Good location, quiet surroundings, beautiful garden, helpful hostess! Gladly again!

Rita is a nice and easy hostess. Arrival and departure proceeded without problems. Rita gave us great, tour-tips. The apartment is small but cozy and corresponds to the description and photos. The environment is very quiet, there to relax a beautiful garden. The village itself is strategically: many possibilities for cycling tours and hiking.

Rita's Apartment is small for 2 people and for a few days but perfectly adequate. Except for towels everything was there that you needed (but this was communicated to us in advance). The village itself does not have much to offer, but the area around it is wonderful for walking and cycling. Rita is a nice and welcoming host. All in all, a cheap alternative to overpriced hotels close to the Rhine.

In both restaurants is also possible his food to order by phone and pick. Waldesch itself is a good starting point for trips by car to Boppard, Koblenz, etc. We had a great time.

After initial difficulties Rita achieve, but everything worked and we had a great weekend in the countryside between the Moselle and the Rhine. Rita's apartment is just right for daytime excursions in all directions and cozy evening to put your tired legs in front of the fireplace. The living room is well lit and in summer you can enjoy the sun on the terrace.

Very nice appartment with all facilities. Very clean and comfortable. Beds could be a bit softer and there is only one toilet in the bathroom, which requires a bit of patience when staying here with 5 people, but for the rest it is very nice. A nice welcome with flowers on the table and good explanations. Quiet neighbourhood on a 15 minutes walking distance from the village of Dieblich.

Wonderful rental property. Brand new with lots and lots of attention to the details. Two closed bedrooms with the option of a third one worked perfectly for our family of three young children. The electronic game system was perfect on a rainy day! Sandra is a wonderful host. She welcomed us personally and helped us organise our visits of the area. She actually recommended us a hike that turned out to be the best we did over our 2 weeks vacation! The only disadvantage of Sandra's place is that you really need a car to make the most of your visit. At the time of our visit, Wifi was not available but the hosts were working on it.

De woning was makkelijk bereikbaar, genoeg plek om de auto te parkeren en het appartement is veel groter dan het op de foto's lijkt. Alles wat je maar nodig kunt hebben is aanwezig (kruiden, pleisters en zelfs nagellakremover!), goede bedden, badlakens, vaatwasser, wasmachine zeg het maar.. en Sandra zorgt ervoor dat je je welkom voelt. zeker een aanbeveling waard.

Die Wohnung ist fantastisch. Sie ist auch viel größer als auf den Fotos, war zumindest mein Empfinden. Die Umgebung ist malerisch und die Gastgeber sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Bei all meinen Airbnb Reisen habe ich mich hier am wohlsten gefühlt. Sehr gerne wieder.

Robert was a very nice man. We've got to his place very late (around 12 pm) but he greeted us warmly and showed us all around his beautiful house. It has a kitchen, dining room, living room and a big lovely balcony. All the stuffs in the house was new and clean. I definitely go to this place again if I have chance and I recommend this place for anyone that is looking for a lovely place to enjoy the Germany's amazing views.

This is a great place to stay! In a delightful village not far from the motorway but enough to feel the tranquility of village life. Great accommodation, spacious clean, kitchen equipped with all you need. The balcony is great to sit out and enjoy the views. Perfect and great value!

A good place to stay!

Lovely place to stay in the middle of a quiet little town. It's a renovated upstairs area with other rooms, sharing a couple bathrooms, a living room area, an outdoor patio, a kitchen and a dining room. We were running late arriving and Robert and his daughter were very accommodating. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a quiet place to stay close to beautiful sights along the Mosel and Rhine.

Simply perfect

We only stayed with Robert for a single night, since we were just passing through to Switzerland and needed a place to stay for the night. Since we would be arriving late, we asked Robert beforehand if this would be a problem. He quickly let us know that this would be fine and made sure he was awake until we arrived. We left early in the morning to continue our journey. Robert is a kind and easy-going host. Showed us the room to sleep in, the kitchen and bathroom we could use. The house is spacious and light with an amazing balcony. The room we slept in was big, clean and tidy with a two-person bed.

This accommodation is listed as a entire apartment but is actually a private room with shared bathroom and entrance. That said, our host was lovely and freely shared tips for visiting to surrounding area. The room was clean and comfortable, located in a quiet area.

Alexanders place was a nice little place on the outskirts of Koblenz. It was about a 20-25min bus ride into the main city centre and the buses left every half an hour. The room itself was very nice and cosy on the top floor with a shared bathroom but we did not see any of the other guests. I did not reliase that there was no wifi access here but Alexander was very helpful and set up his laptop for us. They also had a new born baby, which was not mentioned initially, however this was not a problem as we did not hear him at all. If you are wanting a quiet, cosy room with helpful hosts then this place is for you.

The rooms were very clean and recently updated. Annette and Alexander were lovely and made sure our stay was comfortable. We had a very pleasant experience.

I had a lovely time here, Alex and Netti were amazing, their hospitality was lovely and I would recommend their rooms to anyone. It was warm, clean, perfect. There is a steep stair to the room so that is something to keep in mind. I found somewhere cheap and cheerful to eat dinner nearby and a supermarket was also in walking distance. Highly recommended.

Alexander is a friendly, hospitable and thoughtful host. He and his wife made us feel very welcome. The room was neat and clean with an amazing view over the vineyards. The area is quiet and relaxed so we slept well every night. It takes about 15-20 minutes by bus to get from Koblenz-Guls to Koblenz centre. Please be aware that during weekends the bus will skip some stops! The bus timetable booklet Alexander gave us really turned out to be quite useful!

Our hosts were not at home when we arrived, but gave clear instructions to enable us to gain access. The house is located in a quiet street overlooking the town. The room was clean and tidy, as was the bathroom. However, we felt the accommodation lacked character and atmosphere and found the house rules a little too severely worded. A gentle wording would have made us feel more welcome. We appreciated directions to a "Straussi" pub in town and a place to eat breakfast.

A fine apartment, charming hosts, a good location just outside Koblenz: we enjoyed staying there. I'll certainly stay there again when I next go to Koblenz.
