The apartment is located by the sea, by Ocean Terminal (bars, restaurants, cinema, M&S food and shops), the famous Shore area (fantastic cafes and restaurants) and Asda 24/7. You will find everything on your doorstep. A mini supermarket Scotmid, a GP doctors practice and a pharmacy are in the same building.
Just across the road there is a big shopping centre Ocean terminal which offers fantastic shopping opportunities, including retail shops such as Debenhams, H&M, Gap, Superdry, M&S food and many others. A good choice or restaurants, bars, cinema VUE and entrance to the famous 5* visitor attraction Royal Yacht Britannia.

By bus: there is a frequent 24/7 airport link service to city center and to Ocean Terminal. Busses 200 (shortest) and 300 will bring you right to the flat and the bus stop is called North Leith Sands.
Single adult ticket costs £4.50 (£2 for child) or £7.50 for open return (£3 for child).
By taxi: It will take you about 20-25 min to get from the airport to the flat and cost around £20-25. Please tell the driver that the building is by ocean terminal and it has a Scotmid supermarket and a pharmacy in it. Google map sometimes shows a different location.

Transport - buses
Lothian Buses run frequent service buses from Ocean Terminal from the city centre (15-20 min).
Service Number 11, 16 and 10 (bus stop by the main door) and 22, 34, 36 (bus stop by the crossroad and traffic lights).
Single ticket costs £1.80 or £4.50 all day ticket.
EdinBus app is great to locate yourself on the map at any place in Edinburgh and see live arrivals.
Travel as much as you want on Lothian buses with the same card or device and they will work out the cheapest daily adult fare for you.
All fares can be paid with contactless, including child and family tickets. You can also pay for groups – just tell the driver which tickets you need before presenting your card or device when prompted.
Adult and family tickets can be bought in advance on m-tickets app. Some discounted ticket bundles are also available.
Please be aware that the exact fare is needed when paying with cash on Lothian buses because drivers cannot give change.
