Tonto Natural Bridge State Park is located in central Arizona near Payson. It is believed to be the largest natural travertine bridge in the world. The bridge stands 183 feet high over a 400-foot long tunnel that measures 150 feet at its widest point. There are three hiking trails, a picnic area, and a group use area. Goodfellow Lodge at Tonto Natural Bridge State Park is a one-of-a-kind rustic hideaway in the middle of some of the most picturesque scenery in Arizona’s Rim Country. Nestled deep within Pine Canyon, this three-story cabin-style lodge was built in the 1920’s and has kept much of its early 20th-century charm. The lodge has 10 furnished bedrooms with private and communal restrooms, as well as a furnished basement suite with a private kitchenette with sink and refrigerator. The first floor features our beautiful wood cabin group dining area with picnic table seating, fireplace, and a large kitchen big enough for your group or catering company. Entertain on the outdoor veranda or the grass event area outside, or sit and spot any of our regular wildlife visitors, like deer and javelina. We invite you to visit Goodfellow Lodge and consider it for your next group visit, wedding, or overnight event. Please carry drinking water while hiking these trails. All trails are steep and strenuous. No pets or glass containers on any trails! Pine Creek Trail is about ½ mile long (400 feet developed - undeveloped in the creek bottom), leads to the Pine Creek natural area. Hiking shoes are recommended. Follow the arrows. Allow one hour. Waterfall Trail is about 300 feet long, ends at waterfall cave. Uneven steps. Allow 15–20 minutes. Gowan Trail is about 2,200 feet long, down and back leading to an observation deck in the creek bottom. The trail is steep and rough. No trash cans. Hiking shoes are recommended. Allow one hour. Anna Mae Trail is about 500 feet long and leads to Pine Creek Trail and the Natural Bridge. Allow one hour. What may be the world’s largest travertine bridge can be seen from many angles within the park. From the paved paths on top, visitors will encounter four great viewpoints to help understand the scale of the bridge, while having the opportunity to take in an expansive view of Arizona’s famed rim country. See the quick facts below that help describe how immense this natural bridge actually is! Height of the bridge is 183 feet Width of the tunnel is 150 feet Length of the tunnel is 393 feet Thickness of travertine above the tunnel is 60 feet It should be noted that most natural bridges found throughout the world are made of sandstone or limestone. The size and history of creation of Tonto Natural Bridge makes this particular bridge very unique and special. Those that view the grandeur are often awestruck by the visually stimulating experience! Entrance Fees: Adult: $7/day. Youth (ages 7 – 13): $4/day. Child (6 and under): Free. Note: Dogs are not allowed on any of the trails at the park. Recreate responsibly while hiking

Clocking in at just under three miles, Pine Loop Trail is an easy little adventure suitable for all skill levels. In an hour or less, you'll meander through lush greenery on a red dirt path and emerge feeling rejuvenated, at peace, and one with nature. Pine trees whose narrow trunks seemingly stretch up to the clouds and wide open, panoramic vistas of the surrounding desert landscape are just two types of terrain you'll see. This is such a well-rounded hike, with a little something that speaks to the soul of everyone who embarks on it. Despite an elevation gain of only 360 feet, this summit view is pretty impressive. It's so quiet you could hear a pin drop, and snow-capped mountain peaks tower majestically in the distance. The trail is minimally trafficked, so you'll have ample opportunity to close your eyes and revel in the stillness. In the spring, wildflowers spanning every color of the rainbow burst into life along the path. Several trails intersect with the loop, so feel free to extend your hike if three miles isn't quite enough.

Dogs Unknown E-Bikes Unknown Family Friendly Nice and mellow. Description This is a great little trail for an out-and-back with some nice, smooth, flowing downhill. Alternatively, it can be used as a great connector trail to Trail #26, parts of the Highline Trail #31 (NRT), and as an alternate route for the AZT. To access this trail, park in the Pine Trailhead parking lot off Highway 87 (marked on highway) and head straight through the big gate ahead of you. Ride up to the top and come back down or choose one of the other trails that it connects to. If you go left at two signs and right at the third, you'll be back to your vehicle. Or continue straight further up the AZT and ride back down to the parking area. This trail was built by the great guys of the Pine Strawberry Fuel Reduction. They have built many great trails and they put on the Fire On The Rim race every year. Welcome to The Randall House! The Randall family and proprietors Barbara and Patrick O’Connor invite you to participate in the tradition of hospitality with home-baked goodies and specially prepared meals with garden fresh fruits and vegetables. Initially, the Randall House was a two-room log cabin that still stands today as the entryway. The logs were cut here in Pine with adobe to insulate. A glass-enclosed view of the original construction is showcased in the entry room. The home was built during the winter of 1881 by Alfred Jason Randall while he and his family slept in a covered wagon box and he established his blacksmith shop. This house served as the ranch headquarters for cowboy rancher George Walter Randall and his brothers. George was the grandson of the original Pine pioneer family and maintained the Muleshoe X brand heritage brought from Utah in 1881. His wife, Mary Ellen was a Pine High School marm. She met George her first day in Pine and fell in love- with his horse, which he later gave her as an engagement gift. The couple completed the remodeling and adding rooms while raising their three sons, George, Robert and Fred. Mary Ellen’s favorite spot was in the sunporch where she could watch her horses. During Mary Ellen and George’s time in this home, Pine residents formed a tradition of visiting daily when in town to get their mail. Baked apple pies, plum jams, peanut butter cookies and homemade bread were kept available and graciously served by Mary Ellen to all who visited. It was the place everyone went to visit over a cup of coffee. The grandchildren also stopped by before and after school for home-baked cookies. Mary Ellen had a knack for making everyone feel special. She would tell her unique stories and say, when people began to leave, “Oh, don’t go.” George passed away in 1987 and Mary Ellen in 1998 at the age of 92. Just two weeks prior to her passing, Mary Ellen asked, “What will happen with this house when I am gone?” One suggestion was to do something the community would enjoy. She responded with “How about a coffee house?” Within one month, Barbara, who resembles Mary Ellen with the same desire and gifts to create delectable meals, was searching for a unique property to create her own culinary establishment. Like Mary Ellen, Barbara was well known for her high quality pastries. In May of 1998 she began the restaurant remodeling and in October opened for business. The food is prepared in-house for the guests just as Mary Ellen would have done. They continue her tradition. They have also opened an adjacent guest cottage, named for Mary Ellen. This cozy home of years of hard work, laughter, wonderful food and hospitality is reflected even today. Barbara’s vision for The Randall House, in keeping with its past, is to offer a healthy and tantalizing alternative, using fresh vegetables and fruits, good quality meats and cheeses, and homemade dressings and desserts made from scratch. Mary Ellen offered a broader exposure to Pine as a world class classical pianist. Barbara also offers an expanded cosmopolitan feel with espresso drinks and menu diversity seldom experienced in a rural community. The O’Connor and the Randall families are continuing the tradition of hospitality in honor of Mrs. Mary Ellen Randall and join her in what she would say to you, “Oh, do come back!” 3821 AZ- 87 Pine, AZ 85544 (928)476-4077
