You will appreciate the calm of the place and enjoy the comfort of your home. Artannes/Indre and its shops are 5 minutes away and, in less than 30 minutes you can reach Tours, Villandry, Azay-le-Rideau Castle, Chinon, etc. Allow 1 hour to reach Beauval Zoo.

Come and discover Touraine in our house located in Ile Bouchard. In this small town you will find shops: bakeries, greengrocer, pharmacy, supermarkets, market, restaurants…, as well as free access activities: playground near the house, skate park. Within a radius of about 15 km, you can discover the city of Cardinal de Richelieu, the medieval city as well as the Château de Chinon, the Château d'Azay-le-Rideau, as well as the village of Crissay-sur-Manse.

Welcome to L'Échappée d'Azay, We welcome you to a lovely cozy tuffeau stone house, in the heart of the village of Azay-Le-Rideau.  Located 600 m walk from the Château and local shops (restaurants, butcher, cheese maker, supermarket, wine cellar...), it is the ideal starting point for visiting the Châteaux de la Loire and the cellars of the region.  No less than seven castles are nearby (Langeais, Villandry, Chinon, Rigny Ussé…).

10 minutes from the city center of Tours, nestled in the heart of a 2-hectare wooded park, you will find calm and comfort. Close to the Loire bike path and the city bus, at the end of a cul-de-sac, you will enjoy all the charms of the countryside at the gates of the historic city. You can park your car right next to the house with peace of mind. We will be happy to host you in our newly renovated little house.
