Urke is a small village and has everything you need; great nature, hiking and swimming opportunities, shop with post and pharmacy, horticulture and own pub/cafe. The nature in the area is amazing. The Sunnmørsalpane encircles the village with majestic Slogen and Saksa which have become really popular after Sherpas from Nepal have made steps up through the ura. In the last few years, Urkeegga has also become a popular hiking destination. The mountains here are equally popular for skiing tourists during the winter as for mountain hikes in the summer.

The apartment was completed in 2021 and is located on the 2nd floor of a duplex, in a small condominium, with stunning views of Hjørundfjorden and Sunnmørsalpene. From the kitchen window and living room you can see right on the mountains Slogen and Saksa, and there are lovely views of the fjord which is only a few meters away from the house wall. There are 3 bedrooms with a double bed and a top bunk in each room, and a spacious open kitchen living room.

The house is located 35 m from the parking lot in sloping terrain. Small sandy beach and shared barbecue/outdoor area nearby. 400 m to Sæbø city center with grocery stores, niche shops, hotel and campsite. Motorboat can be rented at an additional cost, floating jetty 50 m from the house. Please let us know before arrival if you want to rent a boat.
