The Birch ply interior, wool carpet and heat pump create a warm and cosy vibe. The Barn is set in a rural landscape overlooking a lovely large pond inhabited by local birdlife. Approx 10-15 mins drive from Dunedin city centre and 3 mins to historic Port Chalmers and some of the best beaches and coastal scenery Otago has to offer all nearby.

A beautiful renovated warm character home just a few easy minutes walk to St Clair beach, surfing, cafes, bars, restaurants and Hot salt water pool (1st Oct-31st March). Self contained, well stocked studio adjoining our home with your own entrance, spacious large lounge with desk and TV (Netflix etc), bedroom (Queen bed), ensuite bathroom, full kitchen (fridge with small freezer, stove top and kitchen equipment. Cooking oils etc, as well as tea & coffee are supplied). Bus stops close by.

Our modern architectural guest house is located in the trendy Dunedin suburb of St Clair. Just 5 minutes away from white sand beaches, world-famous surf, golf, heated salt-water pools, & an array of restaurants & bars. Either roll straight out of bed & onto the golf course, work-cation in style just 10 minutes drive from the city center, or use this as a base to explore the scenery & wildlife of the Otago Peninsula, home to albatross, seals, the yellow-eyed penguin, & Larnach Castle.

Your private suite is inside the main house and separate, with your own digital lock entrance. Walk to the beach, St Clair esplanade cafes and hot salt water pool. 10 mins by car to the CBD. Bus stop one block away. A quiet street to relax or work. Spacious bedroom with a queen bed and lovely linens, ensuite, and attached sunroom with comfy chairs to have a nightcap or hot drink. Microwave, jug, bar fridge, wine glasses and basic crockery/cutlery to heat takeaways. Not a kitchen.

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. No children sorry!
