Chalet vacation rentals in Saint-Élie-de-Caxton

Nice welcome with all the information given by the owner. It feels like a home away from home. We love the tranquility of the place , we sleep in the greatest calm. You can also lull yourself around the fire and admire the lake. The mezzanine offers several beds (6 people). In addition, on the ground floor, there is a closed bedroom that allows you to add two people. The mattresses are comfortable althoughthey have a good experience. It's great because we have almost everything to cook, however, there is no salad dryer or pots that allow you to cook without any glue. However, we still managed:) The center of Le Baluchon which is 15 minutes away, offers several activities. We loved skiing there but you can also eat, snowshoe, ski doo, dog sledding or carriage rides, etc. The village is very quiet. The bakery opens from Thursday and the small shop behind the church from Friday, so we couldn't enjoy it

We had a lovely Easter weekend with the family (6 adults, 2 children and a baby). The cottage is very cozy and warm. We felt right at home! Plenty of space and well-equipped. The games room was much appreciated by young and old alike:) Highly recommended. We will definitely come back in order to enjoy a little more of the outdoors and the very beautiful lake.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this chalet. The surroundings are peaceful and quiet, and the chalet itself is really lovely. It is very well kept and tastefully decorated, and it has been designed with excellent use of space. The kitchen was very well stocked - better than most other places we have stayed. Jean-Sebastien was a very responsive and personable host. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again in the future.

The cottage was amazing! It is both beautiful and intimate, perfect for a family stay. We had a great time, surrounded by comfort and tranquility. In addition, Guy, our host, was super welcoming and very helpful. He did everything he could to make our stay perfect and gave us valuable advice.

The place was perfect for a peaceful getaway during the March Break. Close enough to ameneties, the Mauricie National Park and other other oitdoor fun, but tucked away on a beautiful lake in the woods for some quiet, relaxing time. The place had everything we needed.

Lovely quiet place! We enjoyed the spa and sauna directly attached to the cottage, the cleanliness of the place and the way it was arranged. In winter there is not much to do/visit around, but it was very quiet and allowed you to rest well. We were able to buy wood directly on site to make a fire. We have only positive things to say and surely go back.

Great place to stay, lots of things to do! Love it

We had a pleasant stay at the green cottage. Plenty of space to accommodate our large family as well as our dog. Great communication with the host, cozy and comfortable beds, a beautiful fireplace in the living room, a functional hot tub and what can I say about the massage chair, wow! Definitely not our last time at this cottage. Caution is advised for arrival/departure as the road to get there is sloping and the pavement can be slippery. Thank you for hosting us! The cottage was spacious, clean, modern, and well designed. Plenty of space for a big group. The lake was perfect for swimming. Christine was very communicative before and throughout our stay. We enjoyed our stay and had the best time!

This was our third stay in three consecutive years at Frank and Nadia’s beautiful chalet. You can see my previous reviews also on Airbnb. The chalet is huge and beautiful. One of the en suite bedrooms is located on the ground (main) floor and this was great for us travelling with an older family member who has some mobility issues. Saint Michel des Saints is a magical, beautiful, immaculately maintained small town in gorgeous surroundings. The golf course is absolutely stunning and the management so kind and welcoming even if you aren’t pro and don’t have all the right ‘golf wear’ ! Very refreshing from most other golf clubs. We played twice. We also rented a pontoon from the town which was a lovely experience and highly recommended.

Erik was very easy to work with, responsible. His house was clean and accommodated our eight guys versus Snowmobile trip very well.

We really enjoyed our stay. This place is really good for family. I want to thank Mr. Chalets and the owner for meeting our needs very quickly. The service was exemplary and fast. Really enjoyable for the four seasons.

Amazing location! A real little paradise with the beach directly outside the chalet. I loved the little path in the woods that leads to the cottage. Close to the city, the Auberge du Lac Taureau and others. As for the location, it's a big 5 ⭐️ For us, the only downside was the comfort of the beds. Otherwise, it's a nice place to unwind and enjoy nature.

Irina’s place is the perfect small cabin gateway just an hour away outside of Montreal! Nice terrasse/spa + lake access! Highly recommended, we had a great stay!

The stay was amazing! I was there with me 2 children for 4 days. Upon entering, Alexandre had created the lights. The view is amazing. All three have their own room with a lovely bed. Beautiful veranda, a jetty with a staircase where you can get into the water. On Saturday, Alexandre had left a canoe for us. We went to paddle with that. We come from the Netherlands, you don't have these kinds of beautiful spacious places with us. So that was extra enjoyment. I recommend it to everyone. I myself had stayed here much longer. Peace, space, beautiful surroundings, hiking, biking, etc. etc. I'd love to come back to this magical place again 🦋

That was a wonderful experience! The cottage was clean, fully equipped, and had a cozy balcony overlooking the river. The landlord was very supportive and responsible. We accidentally left our sunglasses there, and he went out of his way to return them to us — we really appreciated his care and effort. I highly recommend this place!

Lovely cottage at the side of the lake with on-site sauna and jacuzzi. The host communicates very well and they respond fast.

Very nice and cosy place. It was perfect for a getaway for 3 persons. The place is well equiped, really clean and beds are comfortable. Fanny and Arnaud are good host and answers quickly to our questions. Definitely a place that I recommend.
