“An idyllic location and friendly hosts made this one of our best family holidays. Kayaking in the beautiful waters of the Sounds to discover secluded beaches, swimming off the wharf, a round of golf nearby, watching the stingrays, spotting the glow worms and of course, the fishing. We all fell in love with St Omer and John and Dots hospitality was second to none. A perfect spot.”

“A fabulous little unit, spacious, well provisioned, tastefully decorated and a very comfy bed. Jo's place is sunny with a lovely deck and surrounding gardens. It's the perfect stay for one night and even better for a longer stay. Jo and Bruce were very welcoming hosts, making our stay most enjoyable. Communication was excellent. Altogether, highly recommended.”

“This is going to be a special review for a special place and two special hosts. We traveled around New Zealand for 3 months. We stayed in AirBnBs both high end and budget friendly across both the entire South and North islands, THIS WAS ONE OF OUR FAVORITES. It's conveniently close to the Picton ferry, so we were planning to spend a night to catch the ferry the next day. We ended up staying 2 more days. We couldn't leave this place! It's cozy, it has everything you need and the views are STUNNING. You can watch the seals feed on the school of fish in the morning and with floor to ceiling windows, the view from your bedroom, the living room, the whole space is amazing. They had some delicious goodies for us for breakfast and this homemade spirit by our bedside that we had to ask for more to take on for the rest of our trip. We could just sit the entire day staring at the horizon from the view this place has. I don't think you need to look for anything else around this area and just trust these two seasoned travelers on this one!”
