The house was beautiful and clean. It was easy to find and all I can say is what a view. I really enjoyed my stay here and will definitely be back!

Felt like we were nestled in the woods. Kitchen was exceptionally stocked! Felt like we had everything we needed. Loved the front windows!

For our family vacation this was perfect. The kids can sled right on the property. Jay has lights along the trail for night sledding as well. We tried ice fishing for the first time and had fun with that. Our mission was for snowmobiling though, and this is a good starting point. Ride directly from the cabin without any hassles. Jay is a fantastic host. He happened to be staying at The Boathouse (next to The Bunkhouse) for a few days for his kids' school vacation, and he could not have been any friendlier. We are already looking forward to next year. The Bunkhouse is not the fanciest cabin on the lake, nor is it intended to be. It is designed for sleeping a good crowd of people who are motivated around outdoor activities. The wood stove makes returning to the cabin that much more enjoyable. The view of the lake and mountains is hard to beat, considering the tall pines surrounding the area. Overall, this was a great experience, and we would return again without thinking about it.

We loved our stay, me and my group of friends. Several amenities available. The very quiet and peaceful place allowed us to have a good time and relax. Will recommend to anyone. We felt at home. Thank you so much. 😁

We found the cottage both rustic and modern. The place is quiet, perfect for unwinding. The bedding was so comfortable..! it has everything you need to prepare varied meals: stewed dishes with raclette (I've never seen so many options). Caroline responds to the speed of light so if you have a question, please feel free!

I love coming up to First Roach Pond. John’s place is lovely and f very well stocked with anything you could need. The beds are comfortable, the area is inviting and we saw three moose just up the road. Can’t wait to return.

I’m trying not to let the fact that I just got home to find that someone must have hit our car while we were there taint my review. There’s a big dent in the bumper of my brand new car. Of course, whoever did it didn’t want to tell us. The parking is a bit tight and people are moving their boats in and out so I guess that’s something to look out for if you stay here. Other than that, the location is excellent and the cabin was spacious.
