Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Salida

Can’t say enough good things about Tom and Leanne’s place. It was home the minute we walked in. We felt extremely safe here. Very good parking areas. Very comfy lay out with great furniture and amazing decor. All the beds super comfy great quality linens. Well stocked kitchen and laundry facilities. The festive lighted two tier side porch and fenced in yard was a huge hangout spot. The location was everything. Walkable to 2 parks great restaurants a thrift store and great shopping including Several vintage shops. We will definitely return next year. Salida is a gem and Tom and Leanne’s place is the best Gem of all.

The technology and the Wi-Fi service need to be upgraded to today standards with so many live programs being shown on Netflix and prime. It’s important that the devices that are being used are to today standards. You had various nights we couldn’t watch anything because either the cable was not upgraded to various channels or the devices would not stream live events because it said on the screen, the device was too old. My suggestion is to get an Apple TV download the most used apps, things like HBO Netflix, Amazon prime and allow people to login to enjoy their stay in the evening. My other advice would be to get a hot tub. It would be great to have after skiing.

This house is gorgeous—spacious, beautifully designed, and packed with amenities. The beds were super comfortable, and the huge deck overlooking the mountains was a dream spot for morning coffee and evening sunsets. The entire space was spotless and had everything we needed for a relaxing trip. The host team was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and I’ll definitely be coming back again!

Although my family and I didn't stay for leisure or for more than a day, we felt comfortable and at home. If we are able to stay again for a longer trip we would be sure to keep this host and location in mind.

First, take a photo of the key code and text to your group. I did not and left my phone in the house. So, yes, I locked us out. Everything was on my phone. My friend sent a message through AirBnB to Wendy explaining what happened. She called her right away and got us back in the house. Phew! The house is a 10-minute walk to downtown Salida, which is so cute. Full of shops, places to each, art galleries, stores for kids, an arcade, etc. One can walk to the grocery too. The house had everything we needed. It is nicely maintained, quiet and comfortable. Our only issue was the one bathroom. We managed with it. If you have a teen who takes forever anytime they in the bathroom, this could be a problem. Plenty of hot water for several showers in a row and lots of towels. Really like having the washer/dryer access even a drying rack. I would stay here again!

This place was amazing. It was the perfect layout for us and our three kids, and it is very close to all the fun things in downtown Salida. It’s the perfect place to stay whether you’re enjoying the river and trails in the summer or skiing Monarch Mountain on spring break. We would definitely stay here again!

Our stay in Buena Vista was fantastic. Corey was great to work with and was super accommodating. His place exceeded our expectations! We will definitely be back!

For our girls trip, Liz’s place was perfect. We were very comfortable and the house is very well appointed. A guest could easily prepare a holiday meal. It’s always nice to have access to a washer and dryer when guests are mountain biking and hiking each day. We enjoyed the location as we walked and biked everywhere.

Wonderful unique stay, everything is a less than 10 minute walk! Lovely.

It was a wonderful home! We enjoyed the stay alot! It is definitely as described, a cozy rest stop, but not really a place to spend all day.

We were only at Renee’s place for one night. We would have loved to stay longer! It was super clean and nicely decorated. I would highly recommend Renee’s place!

I had to book this place very last minute due to a different airbnb not working out, and it was so great! Very nice space and easy check in.

My husband and I stayed at Meg’s cute home recently. We had a wonderful stay! The home is spotless, from top to bottom everything was clean and in good working order. Entry was easy, with plenty of parking. The kitchen was stocked with just enough essentials like coffee, tea, sugar, baggies, dish soap, etc. The City Market is well stocked, so we picked up a few items. There were plenty of games and books available, and a nice basket of brochures to help us plan our days. You will not find a better location to stay in Buena Vista, especially if you are looking for a good mix of things to do. We drove to the top of Cottonwood Pass in about 40-minutes. This is a must-do for sightseeing. We played games in the evenings after dinner, and walked the historical downtown area which is packed full of great eateries and boutique shops. We already talking about our next visit, as the activities in the area are limitless…. Biking, rafting, hiking, etc.

Lovely quiet spot. As a solo traveler I felt safe. I went in the mornings to the hot springs, cottonwood is only 15 min away. Pretty large for a studio. It is attached to their house, but I didn’t hear any noise. It was nice to feel the river nearby even though it was very cold outside so I didn’t really go down. Thanks for hosting, I would definitely come back.

Enjoyed our quick stay. This is a nice place for a couple or solo, bonus is that our dog was welcome. 6 miles outside of Salida, 24 min to Buena Vista. Nicely decorated, comfortable bed

We had a great stay and bet comfortable accommodations! Great location , close to all restaurants and stores in downtown Salida, the river and trails by S Mountain. Love all the windows and the great views of town and the mountains. Wish we could stay longer!

Kelley’s place was great! She accepted our invite last minute when our other airbnb was overbooked and we had to find another place to stay. Kelley was very welcoming and accommodating to us and our dogs. She gave us clear instructions on what to do. We had a relaxing evening and enjoyed our quick trip to BV.

This is the second time we stayed here in BV and would definitely come back. It's right near everything and just a great value. We love it here.

Clean, Modern, Quiet and Convenient. Our second time in this unit. Very good communication. the Place is super quiet, as it's tucked in a little area off the road. We had a small issue when we arrived, and they took care of it immediately. There are about 16 stairs to upper level, so if you have mobility issues, consider this.

The place was amazing and had extra touches and was excellent quality! Our welcome gift when we arrived was awesome. We already booked a future stay because we loved it so much.
