Easter Weekend Getaway Review We had a wonderful stay during the Easter weekend! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with delicious drinks and snacks, setting the tone for our trip. The accommodation was beautiful and impeccably clean, making it a perfect retreat. Andrew, our host, was exceptional. He provided clear instructions and directions, and even checked in on us to ensure we arrived safely. His caring nature truly made us feel at home. We enjoyed every moment of our stay, and we are already looking forward to returning in the future. Highly recommended!

The place was quiet spacious and very nice with a beautiful view of the city. The host was very friendly . The location is next to a lot of trendy restaurants which are a walkable distance from the place.

Fezeka’s place was great. It looked like the pictures. It was very clean.Everything worked. It was very peaceful. We would go back.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is great, and it was special to start the day taking in the view of the ocean. Paige and David are excellent hosts, and were friendly in all their communications. We had no doubts about anything due to their proactive messaging, and it was great to also receive a few local recommendations. The little touches, such as the good quality instant coffee provided, really made us feel at home. The shower is powerful, and it was great for unwinding after a long day's travel. Everything was spotlessly clean. We liked the layout of the room, and it was really conducive to getting comfortable and settling down. Although we couldn't stay for long, we enjoyed our time in this apartment.

My stay with Irene and Dudley was so special, what incredible hosts. The space is peaceful, central, really felt like a home away from home. I can’t thank them enough for a lovely stay 😊

Beate home is truly a "home away from home". Each day I went into Durban, I looked forward to getting home. The home is tastefully designed. She just bought a new wooden table for 6. All the wood in the house matches the lush garden that you're surrounded by. :-) Anything you can possible need is in the home. Beate is also lovely enough to get whatever you may need. Walking distance to anything you need. I really enjoy this home!

Lydia is a good host and her house is stunning. 🤩 I have already shared the booking details with my friends and family who’ll be visiting Dbn soon. I loved everything and enjoyed my stay. I will definitely choose Lydia’s house again when I come to Durban.

Absolutely lovely flat. The linens, made by Camille’s company it turns out, were some of the nicest I’ve ever slept on — and I’ve spent a great deal of time in luxury hotels for work. ( If you’re local check out That’s Linen ). If, like me, you’re booking because it’s walking distance to stuff, be prepared for a workout on the way home. But hey, great views don’t come without steep climbs.

Great open plan & spacious home! The master bedroom particularly stands out! The estate is great with a variety of places to eat and explore. Appreciated the facilities as we had a toddler so this made life a lot easier.

Melissa was simply theeee best!!! We at no point felt neglected, the checking in was the smoothest I’ve ever had, driving to the place, she kept checking on us, we arrived late but she stayed up until late just so she can be able to assist us check-in. The place is amazing, more beautiful in person that it even is on the pictures, the view is breathtaking!!! With the sea breeze, we walked to the beach, for less than 3 minutes, that’s how close it is to the house. My friends and I really enjoyed our stay at Melissa’s, apart from the above mentioned, Melissa has humanity and we found that gold about her! She’s not just making money from here guests but she’s considerate of them and makes sure they’re happy and convenienced.

We had a short but lovely stay at Naomi's place, it is conveniently situated, well appointed and had everything we needed. Naomi made everything from checkin to checkout effortless, it was a pleasure to deal with her. I highly recommend her and the lovey loft.

We reached out to Siphesihle after a terrible experience at another AirBnB listing. We were on our way to Siphesihle's place within 2 hours. We're forever grateful for his hospitality when we needed it the most! The home was beautifully decorated, clean, safe, spacious, and near plenty of restaurants. Though it was on a busy strip, my family (including a toddler) had uninterrupted rest each night.

We had a lovely stay, close to the main beach, shops etc. Will definitely be back.

What a beautiful spot! From the moment you arrive you feel as though you can exhale. Stunning place, beautiful furniture linen and every amenity. Special touches like great coffee, milk in the fridge and just all round welcoming space. Oh but the views of the ocean!! Wow! Literally a few steps away with direct beach access and access to the promenade with its host of beautiful restaurants and close proximity to shopping etc. You can’t get better value for money in such a beautiful space and location than this spot in Umhlanga! Oh and the host was the cherry on top. Warm, helpful, responsive. I will be booking again! That’s for sure. 🔥🔥🔥

Paola was an absolutely amazing host. She provided us with clear instructions up front and was extremely communicative. She assisted us with all of our inquiries and she made us feel right at home. The place is breathtaking and exactly as per the pictures. It’s peaceful, with an amazing view and close to any and every restaurant you would need. We will definitely be back

Great place to stay in Durban, well stocked kitchen and loved the trees outside the window. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who visit Durban and looks for a place that's a bit quieter and close to some restaurants.

We had an amazing stay at Ryan's place. It was easy to check in and out. The apartment is in a private corner with all the amenities you could ever need! Everything was beautiful and comfy. Would highly recommend. Ryan is an amazing host and we'll definitely visit again.
