Family-friendly vacation rentals in Samaná Province

We had such a wonderful stay! This was our first vacation with our 18 month old toddler, which we were so scared of - but it was so so perfect. The house had everything we needed for him, crib, high chair, microwave for his milk, etc. Carlos' communication was amazing, he always responded immediately and helped us with absolutely everything we needed (airport cars, a buggy rental at the house, massages, etc). The house was beautiful as was the location. The beach we could walk to was fantastic! Also Jackie, who cooked all our meals was AMAZING! Her food was beyond delicious, she was so sweet and kind, and our 18 month old toddler was absolutely in love with her. Can't recommend enough, definitely going back!

This place was absolutely amazing, perfectly clean, and super comfortable. We were able to enjoy the chefs services which were delicious. The team in general worked perfectly to our expectations and then some. One thing we were iffy about was how close the beach was, but it was a 3 minute walk from the house, and super accessible. The beaches were pristine, and were everything we were hoping for .

This resort was beautiful, updated and always clean. The beach restaurant is gorgeous and the food terrific. The beach and the loungers are paradise. My expectations for both the resort and my condo were exceeded

Las palabras no son suficientes para describir la paz que transmite este lugar, estaba impecable, super tranquilo y con vistas espectaculares. Si buscas desconectarte por unos días es el lugar ideal. Sin vecinos ruidosos, tiene todo lo necesario para quedarse varios días. Está ubicado a menos de un kilometro de playa Coson. No necesitas pasar por el pueblo para llegar a varias playas. Nota importante: Recomiendo vehículos altos para subir mas facil. El host es un amor, muy servicial y diligente. Super complacido con la estancia. Definitivamente repetiría la visita.

We stayed an extra night in Las Terrenas and Alessandras apartment came up and we instantly loved it! We did not get there until 10pm and Alessandra was so helpful and nothing was a problem for her. The next day, her partner helped me get my car out and were so helpful and friendly. Alessandra has a beautiful home but it also had a really good vibe about the place! Will be back to stay again!

The views and the terrace… just wow. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking to spend your time in a more remote and peaceful location. It's quite far from the beach, but that gives it a very private and relaxing feel. The sunsets are beautiful, and the comfortable outdoor furniture on the terrace makes you want to sit there for hours. The pool and sun loungers were clean and well-maintained, which made relaxing outside even more enjoyable. The entire house is beautifully decorated and designed with great attention to detail — it really adds to the luxurious atmosphere. Ramon and Albania were kind, but unfortunately they don’t speak English, which made communication a bit challenging at times. The house was very clean, and surprisingly, we didn’t see any insects or mosquitoes — maybe we just got lucky! The villa looked even better than in the photos when we booked it — it had just been renovated and feels very upscale, except for the kitchen, which could use some updates

Muy amables ambos, fácil de llegar. Y el sitio es acogedor. Teníamos que salir a una hora y nos dió chance para poder disfrutar un poco más de la estancia.

Nos atendieron muy bien, nos dejaron buenos consejos para pasar nuestros días en las Terrenas, fueron muy amables con nosotros, casa grande, cómoda y aunque no está a primera línea de mar, si llegas en menos de 5 minutos a la playa de las Terrenas, buena ubicación. Si tengo que poner algo a mejorar solo, es el acceso, muy justo para una VAN, aunque si entrabas pero un tanto justo y la puerta se cierra muy rápido, nos pasó que al salir como había carros en la calle se nos cerró y nos hizo un mini golpe, tal vez se pueda mejorar con un sensor para que no le pase a nadie más. Pero nuestra calificación sobre la casa es muy buena a nivel general, estuvimos muy a gusto y pasamos unos días excelentes y ellos fueron amables y flexibles.

Grande villa con bellissima piscina e giardino con molta privacy a dieci minuti dalla spiaggia. Un posto veramente bello e con tanto charme dove passare una tranquilla vacanza in famiglia o con amici. Unico difetto, alle cinque del pomeriggio finisce il sole in piscina perché la vegetazione è molto alta e alcuni elettrodomestici di casa (es. lavastoviglie e frigorifero) sono un po’ vecchi. Jose Manuel è stato sempre molto disponibile e ci ha fornito un sacco di consigli su cosa fare e vedere a Las Terrenas.

Visite esta villa hace 6-7 años y es incredible como la encontré en perfectas condiciones. Super amplia, las camas muy cómodas. La host Maria siempre pendiente de que estuviéramos bien. El servicio de Maribel y el señor que atienden la villa es excelente y hicieron nuestra estadía mas plasentera.

Paradise! Can’t wait to come back and stay longer.

We were at one with nature in this peaceful oasis! We stayed here with our rambunctious 3 year old; we knew it would be a little risky due to accessibility to the pool, stairs, etc but it turned out great! Really enjoyed the (incredible!!) view, pool, the beautiful gardens, the wildlife. We also liked the area, we really got a sense of the real DR. The place was perfect for a short stay! The kitchen had the basics, but imo not enough for a longer stay. The highlight was the little cat, my son had lots of fun giving it water and cuddling it. Lots of ants/wasps/mosquitos here, if you don’t like creepy crawlers, this place might not be suitable! The place was as described, clean and the staff on site were great (daniel and anulfo). We managed to get up the hill in a tiny Kia Picante, but as others suggested, its a very steep, rocky road; an SUV would have been best but it was still do-able in our car with extreme caution! Espaciosa y acogedora. Cuenta con toda las facilidades para hospedar 8 personas cómodamente. La ubicación está cerca de donde se encuentran los negocios de Las Terrenas, tal cual como describe la publicación. Cuenta con una piscina agradable. Si tu grupo es grande, es una perfecta estancia para que todos puedan estar juntos.

Estuvimos en la Villa de Bernard durante un viaje de familia y nos sentimos muy bien en la casa, la piscina es grande y bonita y la terraza de la casa es muy acogedora. Se puede llegar a la parte mas bonita de playa Las Ballenas en menos de 5 minutos. Nelcido el guardian es muy amable. Gracias!

I contacted Luigi during the late afternoon for a same day check in. He was quick and responsive and responded to all my needs. Check in is quick and efficient. Clean apartment with a great beach view from the balcony.

Très bon séjour dans la maison de Claudine et Claude. La maison est très bien entretenue avec tous les équipements souhaités. Nous recommandons fortement.

Beautiful house, very spacious, peaceful, perfect for a family, we really enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean, and Hans had someone that clean the pool every day. Hans was also very helpful.

El alojamiento de Frederique fue perfecto: casita al fondo de su hermosa casa y jardín, a la vuelta de “La Playita” (arena blanca, poco sargazo y reposeras de pago) y a 12 min del centro. Cocina completa (con algunas cositas para cocinar de cortesía ), ventilador de techo de varias velocidades, mallas, mosquitero e inciensos repelentes que nos mantuvieron libres de insectos. Desayuno abundante con fruta, baguette, cosas para el pan y té (¡incluso pudimos llevarnos lo que nos sobró!). Frederique nos contactó con su amiga de la agencia de tours para organizar nuestra excursión a Los Haitises y Cayo Levantado (con los binoculares de Frederique incluidos) y, además, nos presentó a Caquito(excelente persona), quien nos llevó en moto a Playa Rincón y nos recogió al ir y volver de Samaná. Frederique tiene cinco perritos adorables y juguetones que nos acompañaron a todas partes Siempre estaremos agradecidos por la amabilidad, calidez y hospitalidad de Frederique, te llevamos en nuestro ❤️

My family and I had an amazing time! The house was absolutely stunning. When we weren’t off going on hikes, whale watching, and playing at the beach, we were having fun at the pool. We felt extremely safe our entire stay. There are so many restaurants that are within walking distance. I would highly recommend Daniel, the taxi driver for private transfer to and from the airport and everything In between. He was an incredible driver. Rick and Nathalie were amazing and helped with any questions that came up. We plan to be back soon!

Alessandro’s place was amazing. The home looks better than the pictures and the pictures were already breathtaking. My family loved the pool but especially the private beach that was just steps away from the house. Definitely coming back to this place when I come back to Samaná.
