olavo's apartment is very spacious, located 10 minutes from the beach, and close to amenities, the best glacier at the bottom of the building, convenience store 100 meters away. The balcony was a plus for us, since the carnival was at the foot. Olavo is very responsive, you can send a message, he responds right away.

Great place with a great view! Quiet and peaceful. The only thing i would suggest is change the single beds to doubles. They are to small for adult size people. Other than that it was a great stay

Well equipped, spacious and clean apartment in a quiet neighbourhood. Jamila was very helpful and managed to help resolve any issues that I had.

Raquel has a recently renovated pair of apartments; we actually stayed in the other apartment listed on Raquel's profile, so a few things may be different. She was always happy to help with recommendations, and both she and her daughter are so, so lovely. The apartment is simply furnished and supplied with the basics to cook simple meals, and Raquel was super quick to drop by with anything that we needed. Wifi wasn't great, but that might be standard for the island. It's in a very local neighbourhood, with two small supermarkets and a fruit stand within a minute's walk. It's an easy 15-minute walk to the center, and you'll just want to plan to take a taxi when coming home at night. As a bonus, the rooftop offers a beautiful view of the sunset.

We were moved from our original booking to this apartment following a water issue in the building. Our host communicated with us and offered the change (it was un upgrade to what we had previously so it was a no-brainer to agree!) before we actually arrived in Mindelo. So hats off for being forward and helpful, we don't know what we would have done in the heat of Mindelo without water!!!! (water is very precious in Cape Verde, it hasn't rained in 3 years so don't take those issues lightly. Our host did very well by sending us into another apartment ). The apartment itself is big with 3 bedrooms. We were a group of 5 and were all very comfortable . The kitchen is big and functional . We didn't cook in there while we were in Mindelo. We indulged in local restaurants instead! And since the place is well located, we had a lot of options. The beach is literally across the street, and it's a very nice one too. And surprisingly not crowded (maybe we were at the wrong time of the year...). The beach club will provide you free wifi if you use their premises (we did. Their beach chairs with umbrellas were a blessing). All in all, we enjoyed ourselves very much and we have our host to thank for that.

Great location - quiet, safe, stable internet, wonderful views, minimarket next door, good water pressure. Daniel is very communicative. The flat didn't have a good solid chair for remote working when I stayed, but Daniel is trying to fix this. Highly recommended - would definitely want to stay here again.

Seemingly nice, close to everything, clean, quiet, discreet, it's what I was looking for. The person who welcomed me very nice and very responsive. I already knew the apartment because my mom had booked and she wasn't on it. no complaints.

Nuun was there at our arrival even though it was late in the evening. We even got locked out one night where he responded and organised for us to get back in immediately! The apartment was beautiful, with stylish decor and the highlight is the stunning view! Recommend staying here if visiting Sao Vicente!

It is a wonderful apartment with all imaginable amenities. The life of a fishing village is set in front of you. Ocean view. Really enjoy. You can't hear or hardly hear the air traffic

We had a great time at Arminda and Joce's! The accommodation is large and comfortable! On the outskirts of the city hustle and bustle, the house is in the countryside, quiet. Not far away, a small village with a small restaurant by Julia & Tony that we recommend!! 😋 Arminda is very available and helped us with a lot of questions! Thanks again Arminda!

Fantastic stay with amazing views The apartment was in perfect condition, very clean and well cared for. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom spacious and the spectacular views. Communication with Gabriele and his team was excellent. They were always attentive and everything I asked for was provided with taste and very good predisposition. As an improvement, it would be helpful to have a clothes rack and a washing machine. Also, the WiFi sometimes doesn't work well. The place is somewhat far from downtown, so it is necessary to move by taxi. Even so, the experience was very good and I would definitely come back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐½ (4.5/5)

The food, definitely needs mentioning An excellent evening meal is served in a community setting, breakfast at optional times , the ingredients cooking & presentation 100%.

Nice place very close to beach. Stenio was very helpful and helped us through some flight issues. Leo was a great tour guide through the city. Apartment is very well set up with different services you can easily access and in a great location

Honoria is a lovely woman and a perfect hostess. She wants to help with everything and even left me some nice Catchupa when I told her I loved this typical Cape Verdean food. The apartment was bigger than I thought it was. Clean and quiet. Perfect location near Laginha Beach. I would definitely stay there on my next visit.

I spent one month in this apartment and everything was absolutely perfect! from the friendly welcome from the host and her responsiveness in helping me with any question, to the central location, comfort and space of the apartment, this was the perfect home away from home. The flat is very spacious and breezy and has an amazing view. The kitchen is well equipped and functional, and I loved having a washing machine. The bedroom was quiet and the bed was very comfortable, the shower had great pressure and temperature. Not to mention the place was super squeaky clean and it exceeded all my expectations. I would book it again in a heartbeat!
