Kid-friendly vacation rentals in São Jorge

We felt completely comfortable in the accommodation. We didn't miss anything. The furnishings leave nothing to be desired, the communication was smooth and the view of the Pico and the Atlantic was simply breathtaking.

Came here for 6 days peace and quiet break, beach & bars/restaraunts walkable. (On quiet roads) Near to airport, Mt Pico & Unisco World heritage area. Nice balcony/garden to chill on with great views of Mt Pico & Sao Jorge

We had an amazing few day's at Jorge's place. Horta is a fantastic location and the house is nestled into the hillside with fabulous views over the town and harbour. Perfectly located just a few minutes walk into town. We loved to sit eating our breakfast in the morning enjoying the wonderful view and star gazing at night after enjoying the island of Faial. Not to be missed! Hiking around the Caldeira, Capelinhos & Whale watching were all highlights for us! We would love to come back for a few more days....maybe next year :)

The house is very tastefully decorated. It really has everything. In the morning, enjoy a cup of tea in front of the door and the view of the sea. Breakfast overlooking the Pico and falling asleep with the sound of the sea. It is very clean. Anabela welcomed us in a very friendly way and took us to the city in the evening and showed us everything. We had wonderful Christmas days with a fireplace etc. It was lovely and quiet. The Cela Bar was closed.

Julio's place is lovely, well situated with nice views on Montanha do Pico and the ocean. Not far from Madalena, and also near the road that allows you to get to the start of the Pico climb.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay at Antonio's place. The perfect mix of modern amenities and old farm style charm. We were spoilt with local specialities and felt warmly welcomed and right at home. We enjoyed staying in this small beautiful quiet village and explored the rest of the island from this special homebase. Just magical. Highly recommend it.

Great accommodation! The view is incredibly nice and the apartment was very clean and we didn't miss anything. We would book again anytime and that was certainly not our last visit :)

Nice personal welcome and farewell by Andreia. She was always available. Parking right outside the door. Apartment equipped with everything you need. We felt very comfortable.

Monica was flexible when we had to twice ask to change our dates. The apartment is intriguing, a mix between 150-year-old building, but with a very modern, spotless interior. The location is beyond brilliant, steps away from Porto Pim beach and restaurants and a three-minute walk from the marina and downtown. We'll be back next year!

The apartment is large and clean. There is everything you need. The view from the roof terrace is magnificent! Joao was always very accessible and even took us from the harbor to the apartment and back. The wipes were changed regularly and the garbage emptied. Only in the kitchen we missed some things such as Baking paper or plastic wrap. However, the shop is not far away and is open for a long time every day.

Very nice and new little appartment that has everything you need. The outside grill and dining area is a huge plus. The sea just a one minute walk away. The check-in and check-out was flexible and nicely arranged by the host. The only (very little) downside is that it is quite close to a street, but that didn't bother me too much.

It was our 3rd stay at Agostinhas place, very good location 2 mins from the main Street, very quiet, beautiful garden, nicely decorated flat with lots of history of Faial. The host family is fantastic all around. We will be back next year!

Beautiful ground-level apartment that had everything I needed for my 4-day stay. As nice as the accommodation is, the best thing about the place might be the host Florencio who lives upstairs. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to meet Florencio, as he was called out of town to help with a friend’s medical emergency. However, he was very attentive to making sure I had good directions, local information, etc. before I arrived and was easily reachable for my questions and responded quickly during my stay. Five stars for the place, ten stars for Florencio —- highly recommended !

Perfect location in the heart of Horta. Easy to walk to the marina and all the restaurants and bars. The apartment was spotless and extremely spacious. Host is very responsive and extremely helpful. Excellent home for your visit to Faial.

Eunice was an amazing host. She was always responsive, helpful and very kind. We had issues with the lock box and within 10 min she had the matter solved. We would definitely recommend Eunice as a host!

Thanks for a lovely stay in Madelana. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. The garden was a big bonus. Easy to walk to restaurants in town and very close to ferry terminal if you’re travelling to or from Faial.

We had a great time, the house is in a perfect area to walk everywhere. We always received a very quick response when we needed help with it. All good!

Beautiful small apartment with good kitchen. Just outside of the city. Would have stayed longer if I had more vacation days.
