We had a wonderful time. The people in the village are very friendly. And because of the festival we enjoyed the local entertainment complete with a front row seat to a bull fight Out in front of the house!

Very convenient location for centre of town, Mount Brasil, and local shopping. Grocery store only a short walk away. Perfect base to explore the island, easy parking. Thank you, Nelson, for the excellent hike and restaurant recommendations.

Teresa’s house in the Azores is an absolute must-visit! Not only is the house spotless and cozy, but Teresa herself is one of the kindest and most thoughtful hosts I’ve ever met. When it started raining, she went above and beyond by personally driving me to a restaurant in her cool classic truck, and even offered to drop me at the airport. Her hospitality is unmatched, and staying at her Airbnb felt more like visiting a friend. If you get the chance to stay at her place, don’t hesitate—book it! You’ll have an amazing experience with a truly special host.

This place was fantastic from booking all the way to check out. The hosts were extremely helpful, responsive, and they truly wanted us to have a great vacation, communicating with us right after we booked with the best local restaurants, tips and tricks, and places to visit. The house itself was extremely well maintained, beautifully updated while keeping the old school character and charm, and plenty spacious for my family to comfortably stay. It was very close to everything, walkable from the city center, restaurants, and tourist locations. I would argue the terrace area up the driveway has the best view in the whole city and we spent some time up there just relaxing and admiring the view. Perfect place to unwind and have a night cap while talking about the days adventures. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay on the island!

Christine was an amazing host and the house was perfect. Highlights for me were the parking that was always available and the cleanliness throughout. I hope to stay here again next time I visit family in Villa Nova.

José's apartment was very good, matched the Airbnb photos. We stayed there (my husband and I) for 1 night, we arrived from Terceira, we spent 2 weeks on 5 islands (Terceira, Graciosa, Faial, Pico and Sao Jorge). We left the next day for France. I could not have picked a better place for my 2,5 weeks in Angra! The location in the centre of town is perfect. The spacious apartment in an old, but neatly renovated building, had everything I needed and more. Especially nice is the small terrace at the back. But the best was that Tiago was very helpful & friendly and always quick in responding to messages.

Paulo’s place was a perfect getaway for me as it is located in a peaceful and quiet area with stunning view of the ocean and the mountains around. Sheep, goats and cows next to the house were amazing and did not disturb at all. On the contrary they contributed to idillic and picturesque view. You obviously need a car to get to the place and explore the island. The spacious parking with plenty of spaces is right in front. Paulo has always been supportive, gave clear instructions on getting-in and immediately responded, in case needed. Highly and sincerely recommend Paulo’s place!

We stayed 3 nights and this apartment was everything you could hope for in a vacation rental: well-located, spotlessly clean, modern and comfortable, and with lovely hosts who were always quick to respond to any questions we had. I would highly recommend this lovely property to anyone coming to Angra :)

We had a wonderful stay at Daniela's apartment. It's a two story apartment with very comfortable beds, two bathrooms, nice living room, well equiped kitchen with basic ingredients, everything clean and pristine. The view from the balcony over Monte Brasil and the ocean will stay in our minds as one of our favorite spots in the Azores. Daniela gave us very useful local hins and tips. We were grateful to follow them. As we like to dig in into local culture at least a bit, we really enjoyed the nearby grocery & café called Mercado Lusitania. Thank you!!

Very nice location overlooking the city. The proximity of the Park is a plus (we always took it to go down to the old town on foot). The accommodation is functional with high-tech equipment. We did not use the common areas except the pool, always pleasant after a day of hiking. Although located in the city, the place is quiet.

Gorgeous location with everything you need for a great stay. We really enjoyed the sunsets. Bed was comfortable. The house is a different color than the listing which made finding it a little confusing (it’s white with blue trim now). Check-in could be a little smoother, but was by no means terrible. Overall, this was a really lovely stay.

The apartment had great amenities, the view from the balcony was exquisite. Everything was very clean and spacious. Kitchen is very well equipped. Bluetooth music was a great plus. Only downside was occasional sewer smell from the drain which we solved by temporarily covering overflow with duct tape.

We stayed in unit 4 of Angra+ for several days to explore the island. We were very happy with our stay! The windows and balcony overlook the manicured garden and small pool, and the view over the city and ocean is stunning! The apartment has everything you need to cook, if wanted, but since it is a short walk to downtown, we enjoyed many different restaurants instead. The hosts were very proactive, kind, and available. Considering how narrow and steep the streets are, having dedicated parking was a major plus! We absolutely recommend this Airbnb. Thank you

Absolutely great stay, Cristina is a very thoughtful host! The place was perfect for the two of us, it had everything we needed. Cristina had prepared a small document for us with the good local addresses, it was perfect! Obviously the view is unique, you can spend hours looking at the ocean, both from the terrace and from the bedroom. Close to all points of interest, very central to the island and easy to get to. I highly recommend it!!

Beyond expectations! We were two couples (my husband and I and my parents). The apartment was perfect for privacy based on the layout with room to spare. It included all amenities and a few extra perks. Having a laundry room is great for longer stays or quick washes. The whole experience from the booking to the checkout was easy and host was responsive and helpful. One morning we didn’t have hot water and it was quickly acknowledged and resolved. Having multi A/C units (1 in each bedroom, 1 in living area) made hot days and nights bearable. Highly recommend and would book again when we return.
