The apartment in the countryside is located on the upper floor of a historic farmhouse with a huge natural garden directly on the field and forest. From the spacious kitchen/dining/living area view of the garden and village. The sleeping area for 4-6 people consists of 2 bedrooms with double beds and a second living/play room with sleeping accommodations for 2 people (opens up the 2 bedrooms). For 8 people, another bedroom with a double bed (12 sqm) is added. Spacious toilet/bathroom area (16 sqm) with shower and tub.

A stream flows right behind the house through a nature reserve and the hilly landscape with meadows and forests invites you to hike with ever new views. The sunny apartment itself, with old floorboards and treasures from 3 generations, is ideal for families or friends and all those who are looking for peace and nature, whether to relax or work.

The apartment is very quiet and is barrier-free, has bed linens and towels. Pets by arrangement. Just around the corner are Homberg (Efze) with the Hohenburg, the cathedral town of Fritzlar, the Edersee, the Singliser See, the Silbersee and many other beautiful lakes and nature reserves. The central location in the middle of Germany is well suited for transit; it's 10 minutes to the A7/A5. There are many cycling and hiking trails in the area. The Sassen/Richthof cohabitation is about 7 minutes away by car. Grocery stores in Schlitz or Niederaula can be reached in 10 minutes.

A vacation home with a garden all to yourself. Our romantic vacation home is located in the middle of nature, on a sunny, forested slope above the small village of Mühlbach. The well-kept garden, enclosed with a hedge, has many nice seating areas. In the garden there is a small pond, two beautiful large sun loungers and a grill. The beautiful view of the village and the beautiful low mountain landscape enchants every guest. One pet is allowed.

Vacation at Gut Sauerburg

Our estate with our animals: sheep, goats, ducks, chickens, cats and our dog Elli is only 5 km from the A7 / Malsfeld exit and yet in an absolutely secluded location in the middle of a nature reserve. You can use and explore our 20,000 m² property. Not far from our farm you will find a unique vantage point. Here with us, the hare and the fox say good night. There is also a trampoline/slide/sandbox/table tennis table…

Especially around the Nationalpark Kellerwald-Edersee.
