Hôte très accueillant et toujours à l'écoute pour vous conseiller et faciliter le séjour. la maison est propre, la piscine sans vis-à-vis. Rumays est à une trentaine de minutes de Mascate, parfait pour être à l'écart de la ville sans être trop loin.

Ons verblijf bij Badar was onvergetelijk. De villa was nóg mooier dan op de foto’s: adembenemend, ruim, prachtig ingericht en ongekend luxe met volledige privacy. Ik heb veel gereisd en villa’s geboekt, maar dit was veruit de mooiste ervaring ooit. Badar’s service was buitengewoon. Omdat we vroeg aankwamen met kinderen, had hij de koelkast gevuld met boodschappen. De villa voelde als een privé mini-resort: een discrete medewerker verbleef in een apart bijgebouw en hielp ons waar nodig, zelfs met het draaien van de was. Alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Dit smaakt naar meer – wij komen gegarandeerd terug! Badar is het perfecte voorbeeld van gastvrijheid en ik kan deze villa en zijn service iedereen van harte aanbevelen.

Exactly what I was looking for, a simple and peaceful escape from the rush of the world. I took the folding chair to the beach and read my book with my feet in the sand. Great host and lovely location

Large space for friends and family. A bit far from city center but very close to sea side, 3 mins walk to the beach for sunrise. Great staff.

Ci siamo trovati molto bene. La casa è spaziosa e curata e per noi è stato un ottimo campo base per esplorare i fantastici monti di Jabel Akhdar. Il proprietario ed il guardiano sono stati sempre disponibili ed hanno garantito pulizie regolari, riscontri rapidi e molta cortesia. Torneremmo senza alcuna esitazione.

Tout est très bien! Fidèle à la description et au photo. Issa est très gentil et réactif! Logement à un peu moins d’un h de mascate en voiture. Nous y retournons pour une deuxième partie du séjour!

During my one-day stay at the Old Muscat property, I experienced a villa with great potential. The spacious home is modern and well-designed, featuring a convenient lift that adds an extra touch of luxury. Although the villa appears nearly new and the beds are comfortable, a few details need improvement. For instance, towels – even hand towels – were missing from every room, and the rooftop lacked chairs, tables, or a barbeque grill. Also, there was no washing machine or provided drinking water. Nonetheless, these minor oversights can be easily fixed. Nestled in the heart of Old Muscat, the villa is ideally located just minutes from the old Souq, Corniche, Al Alam Palace, and the National Museum of Oman. The property is clean, elegant, and perfect for families. Asaad was exceptionally responsive and helpful, ensuring a cozy, pleasant stay. I highly recommend this charming retreat for anyone visiting Muscat. A delightful stay in a calm oasis. Truly 10/10 experience!

Gorgeous gorgeous location and the property is super quaint yet filled with character. You can see mountains on one side and the beach on the other. Being away from the city center makes it a great spot for sighting stars. Although it's a little far from the city, as long as you have a car it's not an issue at all, we enjoyed the scenic drives to and from the Airbnb. We were greeted by Rajj the caretaker who was able to assist us with anything we needed during our stay. An absolute must stay if you're visiting Oman!

Mooie ruimtes tegen het strand aan. Tussen locals. Kleurig aangekleed. Het zijn twee huisjes die we samen huurden. Mijn ouders hadden nummer 6 en ik en mijn gezin met partner en twee jonge dames huisje 5. Met gezamenlijke binnentuin/terras. Ook een tussendeur. Vroeger was dit 1 huis. Deze twee huisjes samen geven voldoende ruimte en privacy. Je moet wel wat van eenvoud houden qua keukenapparatuur en douchecomfort en dit huisje werkt goed als je ze samen huurt. We hadden een dakterras met een groot zwembad waar je fijn in kon afkoelen. Er werd meer schaduw gecreëerd nadat wij hierom vroegen en je kon er goed zonnen. Er liepen ook katten uit de straat waar we van konden genieten. Bij eerste aankomst was het even zoeken naar de goede plek vooral in de nacht. Oman is het soms lastig zonder echt een postcode. We hebben gebeld met Aleksi en die heeft ons naar de juist plek gebracht. Het contact via een Omaninummer was fijn en dingen werden gauw opgelost. We hebben enorm genoten. Dank!
