Grandpa's House

Holiday home on the beautiful Hakkstabben on Seiland. The house is close to the lake, beautiful mountains and wild nature. You can rent a boat from us (Sting HT 600 PRO) from May 1 to the end of August to go fishing or look around and enjoy the sea life. The house is equipped with kitchen equipment, bed linen, towels, detergents, etc. At the hosts who live just across the road from the holiday home, you can buy fresh eggs. But there are no shops or restaurants on Hakkstabben, so you have to bring what you need of food and drink.

Studio apartment/studio

Cozy little studio of 21 sqm, with private entrance, private bathroom. Kitchen and bed are in the living room. The kitchen contains a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, kettle, microwave, coffee/tea and equipment. 150 cm double bed, bed linen and towels are included. Possibility to wash clothes by appointment. - Bus stop is 2 minutes away - About 30 minutes' walk to the city centre - About 7-10 minutes by car to Alta Airport. When we have children in the house, there may be noise and we can be helpful with a rental car.

Modern cabin a few hours drive from Tromsø

Approximately 4.5 hours drive from Tromsø, through the scenic Lyngen and further north, you’ll reach the Finnmark Alps. In Jøkelfjord, steep mountains plunge into the fjord, and nestled in the middle of it all a cozy, modern cabin. It’s easily accessible yet feels remote and secluded. Alta city center is just 20 minutes away, offering shops, cafes, a water park,and a lot of hiking opportunities. Near the cabin, you’ll find miles of ski trails, snowmobile trails, a ski slope, climbing park, and a café. Check in, relax and find your peace—welcome to us!

Large and great loft in scenic surroundings

Beautiful view of the Alta valley. Two bedrooms with double bed in each room. Bathroom. No place to store luggage outside of stay. -Mini kitchen with cooking facilities. -No oven (stove) -Microwave oven -No washing machine. -Big porch. Steep and narrow stairs to the attic.Access to nature for walks in the summer and skiing in the winter. Great conditions for northern lights. 10 minutes walk to the university and 15 minutes to the city center where among other things the shopping are.

Henrybu Comfortable house by the fjord.

The house is from 2004, situated 25 meters from the sea, with a beautiful view from the living room and terrace. It is modern equipped with dishwasher, microwave, freezer and all the kitchen equipment you will need, floor heating in the bathroom, laundry room and entrance area. The bedrooms are quite spacious with good quality beds. During spring, summer and autumn a boat for 4 people, with an outboard engine, is available for rent. Perfectly situated for day trips around the area. :)

Luxury cabin by the river

This is a luxurious outdoor experience in raw Finnmark nature or sit inside in the living room watching the northerns lights through the large windows. If you come from abroad, the easiest way to get here is to fly to Alta and rent a car. Getting from Alta to Kokelv is about 2 hours. You can access by car to the front of the entrance area. The house contains 2 bedrooms with king size beds, 1 bedroom with 4 bunk beds and a TV room with a double sofa bed.

Centrally located apartment of about 60 m2. Located on the 1st floor. Partly new refurbished. Walking distance to the center of the city. Walking distance to good mountain hiking opportunities. Free parking. New kitchen and living room with 65" new TV. Sleeps 5 people, one double bed 150cm, a family bunk bed 90cm + 120cm but if desired the sofa can be turned out into extra double bed for 2 people. Complete kitchenware. Bed linen and towels.

New and modern with great view, by the center.

The apartment, built in summer 23, is modern with a fully equipped kitchen, a living room featuring a sofa area and TV, a cozy bathroom with a shower, a hallway, and a bedroom with a custom-built 150 cm bed. All rooms offer views of Hammerfest harbor area, Melkøya, and Håja. It's located on a side street, just a 5-minute walk from the city center. Unfortunately we don't have parking outside our house because the street is so narrow.
