Great place to stay! I definitely recommend for anyone. The host was responsive and the place was exactly as described.

We stayed as an extended family for a funeral. It happened to be a busy weekend in Lawrence and wound up being the perfect place.

My wife and I went to KU and now we have children that go there. We travel to Lawrence quite a bit for family weekends and games. I have typically booked local hotels, but have gotten tired of the price gouging that takes place on these weekends, so we have started staying at Airbnb properties. I can easily say that none have been better than this one. A totally unique home, great proximity to campus, and amazing hosts. Everything was as described and communication was seamless. You can't go wrong with this place. Our experience was perfect.

Cozy place. Everything you would need for accommodating a large group.Beds are comfortable and the linens smelled so good.

Clean and well-appointed. Margaret was clear about her expectations, making it easy for both of us to be satisfied.

The house is wonderful! Open layout and nice decor made it extra homey and comfortable. The couch was so comfy i wanted to stay there with a book all weekend :) Had a hiccup with the heater and Ashlee was super responsive and accommodating. She immediately bought an additional space heater to help but unfortunately it was an extreme cold snap that weekend so Ashlee was quick to offer a refund for unused nights. I will definitely stay here again though for future visits!

We were in town for work and rented this property and had a good stay. The house was clean and as described. The bathrooms are a little small but you can function. Overall, it’s in a great location to downtown, bars and restaurants. The hosts communicated quickly and efficiently. We would stay here again if we are back in town.

Great home, would highly recommend for anyone coming to Topeka, either for just an overnight stay while traveling or longer term, you will feel right at home!

Brandie was a gem, she was very friendly and sweet! I really loved the area and our pup loved running around in the spacious backyard. The mornings were beautiful and it was so peaceful. Everyone around was also friendly, she has really good neighbors. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay and we would 100% book again. Not to mention everything was like 10-15 minutes tops. Lots of great options for restaurants, parks and other pet friendly spots. We truly appreciate her hospitality & kindness.

Brandies space was comfortable and well appointed,it is small but ok for a single or couple stay.

We were in Topeka for a swim meet and this house was a great location clean perfect for my family. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Avalon House in a nutshell was perfect! The furniture was comfortable and the beds were amazing. I woke up pain free every day of my stay. I haven’t done that in months maybe even years! The kitchen is beautiful, you can tell there was a lot of TLC in this home with the design elements. Plenty of room for my family and my dog. The location is very ideal. Close to 3 major roads yet in a quiet and safe neighborhood. I will absolutely be back and if you are traveling to Topeka, you really need to look up Jack’s properties. You will be glad you did!

We stayed at Manny’s house for a week for a family funeral. It was a nice large space with a wonderful kitchen and dining area where our family could gather. Very comfortable beds/pillows, beautiful bathrooms, laundry, nice curtains to darken the rooms for sleep. Well equipped kitchen with ice/water in the fridge door which was great as we were running around a lot. A very comfortable place during a difficult time for us. Manny was always responsive during our stay.

Cute little home. Clean spacious bathroom, all the kitchen tools you need and extra linens available. Would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay! It had all the amenities we needed and really appreciated that it was dog friendly! The area was pretty quite and we had no disturbances while we were there. The hosts were always so quick to respond to us and I could not be more appreciative that they allowed us to check in a few hours early! Would absolutely stay here again if we needed to!
