Apartment vacation rentals in Shipshewana

We have stayed there a few times now. It's nice if you just want to get away from the business of life and and relax at the apartment or close enough to town to go to an event or browse the various shops. It is clean, has everything you could need. It's perfect for us. Katherine is very prompt at responding to any issues or questions that you might have.

A very convenient location and served my needs well. Everything I needed was in the room. I enjoyed having a refrigerator and being able to cook my own meals. The shower was nice and overall the place was clean and tidy. Its obvious that the host put a lot of thought into helping make my stay as easy as possible. I appreciate the effort.

Best place we have stayed in South Bend, our son is a senior at Notre Dame, and I only wish we had found this sooner. Teena went above and beyond to make our family comfortable, stocking the kitchen with a few of our favorite things and making sure we knew how to get in to the house before arrival. The home is very comfortable, with space for lounging, dining and sleeping. Bathroom was stocked with products in case we forgot anything. Location is walkable to ND campus, Eddy street and in a quiet beautiful neighborhood. We could not be more grateful to Teena for making our stay special and memorable. Thank you, we will be back!

Emily's condo is absolutely beautiful and spacious, and more than we could have hoped for! It was well-appointed and perfectly stocked with anything needed for our stay there. We stayed 3 weeks and wished we could have stayed longer! The elevator worked perfectly and it was very easy to enter and leave the condo with key-coded entry, and there is also a wonderful coffee shop on the first floor. Our favorite part of the condo was the amazing Purple mattress in the master bedroom! It was SO comfortable- soft but not too soft! The only mild negatives for us was that a train would go by late at night blaring its horn, but we soon adjusted to it after a couple of nights. We also had a little difficulty two times finding a place to park in the all day section of the free parking lot down the street during the day but, otherwise, parking was fine! Emily was easy to reach and very pro-active in taking care of one small weather-related issue that occurred during our stay. We will be back!

Amazing place to stay. Tina was always responsive and helped when needed. Coffee pot quit working she went right out and replaced same day. She was a great host.

The apartment was spacious and convenient, just as described.

Family was within 5 mins from the place. Loved the keypad entry and felt safe. Place was super cute and clean, always appreciate a king bed! You cant beat paying the same price for a hotel, but here you get a 1 car garage, a full fridge, dishes/dishwasher with full oven/stove and washer and dryer! Super convenient. Will stay here again when we come back for another visit ◡̈

We had a terrific visit here. The space is little bigger than we expected, with a large, eat-in kitchen and a generous main room. The kitchen included all we needed to cook at home. The bathroom and bedrooms were clean and comfy. The owners were both wonderful hosts: very welcoming, clear with directions, and responsive. The small bowl of snacks and hot chocolate on the kitchen table was a nice touch. We are already hoping to book again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay. Sharon sent clear instructions, and we found the space to be comfortable and clean. Nice walkable neighborhood; we walked to the Morris Theater for a concert. This would be an ideal place to stay for a Notre Dame game or visit. We would stay here again.

Great place and a fantastic experience with Lauren. Very peaceful home (like in the country) yet close to everything. The home is very clean and has everything you'll need. This place is 5 Stars, and priced very reasonably, so book it now if its available. You will not regret it! Thanks again Lauren for the treats. Special surprise that made our day even better. I needed it after the Notre Dame loss and that cheered me up :)

This place is amazing, very cutesy. I honestly thought it’d be smaller but it’s very spacious and cozy. I would definitely recommend to whoever. Also she is very friendly and tries her best to make her guest feel welcomed !

The place was clean, and super cute. The host has thought of everything you would need. We loved that you had lake views from all the windows.

Had a wonderful experience w/ my sons for the USC v ND game, it is only 2.2 miles from the stadium. The home feels like a home, is comfortable and our host (Barbara) was fantastic and reachable as needed.! Super clean and perfect for a party of five!

Great hosts! We were welcomed and given a full tour by the host as we arrived. The place was as described. Peaceful and quiet surroundings, super safe area. Highly recommended.

Amazing stay - close to ND, quiet and, close to all! About 10-15 min drive to Notre Dame! Very thankful!

John's house is about two miles north of the Blue Lot at Notre Dame. We were in South Bend for a football game. The house was very nice, plenty of room, three good-sized bedrooms and two bathrooms, also pretty roomy. This place was easy to navigate, uncluttered, everything we needed in the kithchen (we only cooked a little). Thoroughly enjoyable and highly recommend!

Faye’s communications and instructions were perfect. The place is in the basement of their home but it’s very private and it’s on a neat river. They went above and beyond to make our stay very pleasant and enjoyable and even gave us a $10 off coupon for a local breakfast place. Highly recommend this place, especially in the summer since it’s on the river.

Such a great little space and location. Was comfortable for two of us and felt more spacious because of the high ceilings. Everything was updated and clean and cozy. We arrived super late and Velvet was totally accommodating. Short walk to shops, restaurants and Howard Park. We were there for work so didn’t get to explore much. But we’ll definitely stay there again when we’re in town!
