idyllic mountain village surrounded by friendly Italian people. in winter it can get cold in the house, even if the sun laughs in the morning surrounded by lemon trees. We've always had power outages. It was worth a trip. 🍋🌞🍊

Francesco is a great host. Present and thoughtful. The villa is simply enchanting. Cleanliness, location, decor... everything exceptional! The view is also the distinctive element with wonderful views of the calanques and the Ionian that morning and evening awaits you only to be admired in the silence and peace that this place knows how to convey to the end. The beautiful, panoramic pool immersed in a well-kept garden in every detail is a plus for those with children even if the Calabrian sea is in itself a natural pool and it is impossible to resist its wild beaches bathed by an unparalleled sea. Andrea's house is beautifully located by the sea, with direct access to the beach. You have an unobstructed view of the sea, Stromboli on the horizon and a sunset every evening. The furnishings are simple, as is often the case in Italy, but clean and tidy. The surroundings are already very quiet in October, every now and then a cat sneaks by, you are completely undisturbed and can enjoy the holidays. The house has a garage parking space, just a few steps away. A bar and a few restaurants can be reached on foot in about 5 minutes. Pippo, Andrea's father, takes care of all local matters very lovingly, be it a question about the surroundings, where you can get something, something doesn't work or just a chat about the weather. He is always available and happy to help. Highly recommended.

Antonio and his family are great hosts. The house is beautiful and the facilities are great. Whenever we contacted Antonio he responded within 10 minutes and he was very helpful with everything we asked about. This is a great place to stay.

My wife and I spent 10 days at Casa Bocce. The cottage is one of several on the Casa Berto property but is located in such a way that you don't feel the presence of other guests. The cottage is ideal for 2 people. It is equipped with everything you need even for a longer stay. The large double bed is comfortable. As the cottage is located on a cliff (I estimate about 150 m above sea level) there is a completely open view from the terrace to the sea. During good weather the volcano of Stromboli about 60 km away is visible. The sunsets are beautiful. The property includes a private beach but to get there you have to go down a long winding and steep stairs (over 400 steps) down the cliff and then take the same path back up.... The descent and ascent are worth every effort. I did not have the opportunity to get to know Giulia in person. I would like to thank her parents Antonia and Phillipo for the opportunity to stay in such a wonderful place as Casa Berto in Faro Capo Vaticano.

I am very satisfied, right by the sea with rock/stone coast, so the sea always has a nice turquoise and the water is very clean. Parking on the fenced property and the pool - which is very large - makes the stay perfect, also that there are still tables for eating outside.. and of course the outdoor shower... From here you can easily reach many places by car. The landlord also very nice... also his 92 year old father and his brother... very warm Thank you

fantastic accommodation to say the least,it was perfect for a week of complete relaxation. we stayed with our dog who had all the space she needed and her beautiful dogs already in the house to play with. the hosts were super helpful and kind for the entire stay,giving us tips about the area and meeting us where possible. special mention for the view of the sea from the house that made us dream.

WE WERE WELCOMED IN CAULONIA DA COSIMO,VERY HELPFUL AND VERY KIND! THE APARTMENT IS VERY NICE,NEW,VERY BRIGHT AND CLEAN. COMPLETE THE POOL IN THE COMPLEX,PERFECT FOR DAYS IN COMPLETE RELAXATION AND TO HAVE FUN WITH THE CHILDREN (WE ARE A COUPLE WITH A 6-YEAR-OLD CHILD). GREAT LOCATION FOR BOTH THE SEA AND AS A STARTING POINT TO VISIT BEAUTIFUL CALABRIA.

It was a wonderful stay, beautiful view and pool and the apartment was spacious, comfortable and quiet.

The most beautiful thing about the accommodation was the location or the view. And the pool. It was super quiet and we could be really good for ourselves. Franceso was always available to answer any questions or other things and took great care. You should know that you definitely need a car because restaurants etc. are not in walking distance.

The REAL slow life! If you are looking for relaxation, tranquility and well-being here you will find it: beautiful, bucolic places, silence, the sea (the Ionian is the most beautiful and undervalued in Italy), km of almost deserted free beaches in August, good food (many restaurants/farms in the area at very honest prices) and excellent wines. The villa is perfect for both groups of friends and families! Salvatore is a great host, ask him what you want from your vacation and he will be able to show you the best experiences. Will be back!

Beautiful view and an amazing family. The house is very village like and feels like it’s supposed to be. Love the vibe with many different fruit trees in the backyard, oranges, cactus, grapes, and a bonus olive tree. They even have cats all over the backyard, it was magical. The host is very responsive and friendly. He was one of our best so far!

The stay at Elisa's property was up to expectations. The house is cozy and equipped with everything you need: super equipped kitchen and essential air conditioning with the temperatures of thisyear. Elisa was always available, kind and always attentive to our needs. Experience to repeat.

It was a beautiful beach villa! So relaxing

We were received in a very friendly manner and stayed at Francesco's Airbnb for a month. It is very suitable for longer stays. The apartment is pleasantly bright, tastefully furnished and well equipped. You have a beautiful view of the sea. We wanted to get away from the gray winter in Germany and had beautiful spring weather in San Sostene Marina in March. The scenery and plant world is impressive! And in just five minutes you can reach a large, free parking space on the beach by car. Thank you for the wonderful time!

Great welcome. The welcome drink was really very nice. Rita Stella and her husband are really charming and welcoming hosts. The accommodation is clean, functional and quiet. The central location allowed us to go to the Ionian Sea and the Tyrrhenian Sea, as well as to Reggio Calabria.
