Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Simcoe County

Very spacious, we were four people with a dog and it felt like a very big space. The hot tub in the main bedroom is a great addition to a cold winter night.

After being displaced from our home after damage from severe weather we were so fortunate to find this location. The house accommodated our family of 4 with pets for nearly a month without any issues. The kitchen is well equipped, bathrooms are well finished, bedrooms were comfortable and the location was very clean. The backyard is a beautiful and relatively private space hidden within a 15 minute walk to the downtown restaurants or the beach area. Anzhelika is an excellent host who was very responsive when needed, provided clear instructions and ample privacy. We would happily recommend this location to friends and family attending the area for events.

Our stay at Tuan’s place was as expected! It was great having so many things to do all in one place. The hot tub and pool table were a huge hit for our group! Tuan and his family were very responsive, which made our check in and check out very easy. The only constructive feedback is the basement could be cleaned more thoroughly, and information on the shuttle bus would have been helpful. We ended up walking to the village for dinner on Saturday night, which was about a 20 minute walk. Overall, Happy Home was the perfect place to stay for our friend’s getaway weekend!

We had an incredible stay at Mila’s place. Our group of 12 fit very comfortably. We appreciated all the space, the cleanliness and the well stocked kitchen. Mila also went above and beyond to return an item we left behind. I would highly recommend staying here!

Great place to stay if you’re exploring the area, a 5 walk to the village and short drive to collingwood. Heathers instructions were clear and the apartment was clean, well stocked and looked just like the photos :)

We came up to visit my sister’s family for the holidays and the location was close to her and the space was fantastic. Parking was abundant and the host had plowers come by a couple times to make sure it was clear and had salt for the steps so no issues. Host was always responsive and was able to help us out with a pack n play for our toddler which was one less item we had to travel with! I would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Such a lovely home with very nice and comfortable furnishings. Lanny and Jennifer are very friendly hosts that made their suite a home away from home. I would definitely come back.

I enjoyed a peaceful 2 weeks at this beautiful Airbnb! The setting is surreal surrounded by nature and a river! I had everything I needed and I enjoyed a few nights with a cozy fire in the wood stove. The bed and couches were very comfortable. The No Frills in Shelburne was a great grocery store nearby. Wendy was always very responsive and helpful. As clearly noted in the description, there is no cell service but not a big deal as there is wifi. I hope to be back again one day! A true gem!

I stayed here for my son’s competition that was in town. It was far less than a hotel and offered more comfort. Large tv to watch the hockey games at night and full kitchen and living area. The location is super easy to get to off of the Hwy and is in a great neighbourhood. It was nice out so it was a real easy walk to the waterfront to stroll the main streets and we ate at a cool Italian spot. If I ever go back to Barrie, I’ll stay here again for sure.

Everything was really good. There were lot of amenities in the place. If anyone is looking for neat and clean place to stay, i would recommend this place. Moreover, there is jacuzzi in there as well.

Had an excellent stay with my partner and I. Perfect for a short visit to Blue Mountain with the Village nearby. The host was very responsive and gave me some great recommendations for places to visit.

We had a fantastic experience staying at Nicholas's house in Collingwood! From the moment we booked, communication was excellent. Nicholas was quick to respond to any questions we had, making the entire process seamless and stress-free. The house itself was immaculate and well-maintained, with clear instructions regarding the house rules that made settling in a breeze. We truly appreciated the attention to detail in ensuring everything was in order for our stay. One small suggestion would be to have some extra salt on hand for the stairs leading to the unit. While they were already salted, having a bit more available would be helpful for those snowy days. Overall, we had a wonderful time and are grateful to Nicholas for hosting us. Edward’s place is exactly as described in the listing. Clean, luxurious, and modern design. He responds in a timely professional manner and is accommodating. He checks up on you to make sure to follow the rules since it is a calm and peaceful neighbourhood. Great place to stay for our first ski trip to blue mountain.1

I had the pleasure of returning to this wonderful Airbnb, and it was just as amazing as I remembered, if not better. The space is beautifully curated, with such an artistic flair that immediately makes you feel at home. Every corner of the home is thoughtfully designed, blending comfort with creativity, making it a perfect retreat. Sara is an absolute gem. She was incredibly responsive to all my questions, ensuring everything was perfect for my stay. Her warmth and attention to detail made the entire experience seamless and inviting. I can’t recommend this place enough, it’s not just a stay; it’s an experience.

Firstly, this home was the nicest vacation home my family and I have EVER stayed at. It was very spacious, luxurious finishes throughout , it fit my family of 7 very well. The rooms are all good sizes. There are 4 rooms with beds in them, an office on the main floor that we put a crib in for the baby and an additional room in the basement which could be used as a bedroom if you bring a blowup mattress. The backyard is huge, the playground set was a great treat for my kids, however the hot tub did not seem like it was operable. Mina our host was absolutely AMAZING! Her response time to any of our enquires was very prompt, she made sure we truly enjoyed our stay. We would have loved if the home had blackout curtains as the rooms get quite bright in the morning when the sun comes up, but it wasn't the end of the world. All in all, it was an AMAZING STAY! Definitely recommended!!

This house was close to Blue Mountain and an easy drive to nearby amenities. It’s nice and clean and is exactly as pictured.

a really nice property nestled away from the main city! felt like we were up north given that it's inside a York region protected forest! the property was very well stocked, really good appliances and extremely clean! Patrick was amazing in his communications: gave clear instructions and was quick in his replies! plenty of space in the property, lots of parking space, backyard space and a really nice pool area! the pool also had plenty of amenities. Definitely recommend Patrick and his Cedar Escape property!

Roomy, bright and peaceful bed and breakfast nestled in a wooded and peaceful “mountainside” provincial park. Warm and welcoming hosts who have a deep appreciation for the local area. Lovely handmade breakfast and hand crafted coffee, outdoor hot tub, lovely views with plentiful and beautiful spaces to relax and hang out. Thank you Armand and Nonie for hosting our little mini “cure”! Your light and artistic space coupled with your warm hospitality totally re-energized us and was the perfect spot for our late winter ski-escape!

This home is beautiful and well equipped. Giovanni was pleasant and responded quickly to inquiries. My only suggestion would be for visitors to check the beds before choosing rooms, as some bed are firm and others quite soft.
