Here you have a very short distance to everything Jølster has to offer in terms of fishing, mountains and hiking.

Jølet! Imagine lying suspended above the ground on a bed of rushing water with stars in your eyes! That's exactly what you can experience in Jølet, the cabin that is specially designed to give an optimal feeling of closeness to nature. On the edge of a "jøl" (a type of riverbank), created by the river's thousand-year effort to reach the fjord, the cabin partially floats in the terrain. Situated completely by itself without close neighbors, but overlooking the cultural landscape and village, this is a perfect place for both relaxation and activity.

Idyllic summer cottage by the waterfront in Jølster

Welcome to Jølster! This summer cottage is idyllically located on the waterfront at Jølstravatnet, with a stunning view. Enjoy late or active days in the immediate vicinity of both the sea and mountains. The outdoor area is large, and here you can enjoy long summer days, go out with the rowboat (included), swim in crystal clear water, try out SUP boards or kayak (which is also included). This comfortable cabin are located in the beautiful village Kandal in Gloppen, Sogn og Fjordane. If you are looking for something special, this will be the perfect place. Here you are surrounded by high mountains, a lake, rivers and waterfalls. The area are good for trout fishing, and it's possible for the guests to rent a boat during the summer. If you like hiking, there are many great routs in the area. If you just are looking for silence and beautiful scenery, just sit down and enjoy!

Welcome to our second home. A beautiful house, modern, comfortable and with an exceptional location overlooking the Sognefjord and Balestrand. Wall connector for e-cars 32A. Well equipped for cooking. Terrace with dining area and outdoor furniture and fireplace/bbc. Short distance to main attractions. Ideally located for trips by feet or by car. Boating, hiking, kayaking, swimming. The village Balestrand offers fishing trips and fjord tours by boat, rental of kayaks bicycles and cars.

Cottage of about 60 square meters with 2 bedrooms plus loft. Own kitchen with crockery. The cottage is in a peaceful area with 3 other cabins. The chalet is at the end of a private road and the area is quiet and peaceful. There is barbecue at the cabin for fine evenings with sunset in the fjord. There is a fireplace in the living room and it comes with firewood that can be used if it gets cold. There is also electric heating in every room. Bed linen and cleaning are included in the price.

Jolster sauna apartmens was renovated in 2020 and a spectacular electric sauna was build in. Guests can enjoy it without any ekstra fee! Jolster sauna apartments is located in Skei i Jolster, Vestland. Few minutes walk from grocery shop, mini bank, Audhild Viken souvenirs butikk, Circle K gas station and Thon hotel Jølster. It is about 44 km from Førde, 62 km from Sogndal. 500m from Jølstravatnet (30 km long Jølster lake), which is one of the best places for trout fishing in Norway.
