20ft up nesting between three sturdy oak trees this treehouse made of recycled timbers has uninterrupted views across the glorious north downs AONB. Cosy and private set on the edge of a barley field the only sound is the wind through the trees and birdsong. Heater and double glazing makes this ideal in winter or summer, and a chemical loo in the cabin at ground level adds a creature comfort. An induction hob, cool box electric kettle Nespresso machine and music system are all there.
“HIGHLY RECOMMEND! My boyfriend and I had the most amazing weekend in the treehouse. The treehouse itself was absolutely beautiful, equipped with a heater, tea and coffee and plenty of board and card games. The hospitality was incredible from fresh bread and jams delivered for breakfast, and letting us use the shower in the main house! We had one windy night where we sat and played cards in the warm cosy treehouse. Then the second night had a bbq and watched the sunset. With the company of Brandi the resident dog. This is a very special place, cannot recommend enough!”
Pendana Beech House is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty in a quiet rural lane at the foot of the North Downs, not far from the picturesque village of Wye.
“I booked this accommodation for myself and my two friends to escape the city for a long weekend. We were made up with how cosy and lovely the house was. Katy and Brian were fantastic hosts - welcome us warmly, checking we were okay and offering friendly advice about things to do and places to eat. It’s a fantastic location for bike rides - we did two long cycles around the Kent Downs with such quiet roads and stunning scenery! There were lovely village pubs to stop at and the village of Wye which is close by had shops and lovely places to eat (the Indian restaurant Joshans was incredible!). We also did a nice walk and Katy provided a really useful guide with maps. If you’re looking for a quiet, rural and beautiful countryside stop this is the perfect place!”
This newly renovated barn is nestled within the grounds of the listed Evegate Manor.
“I booked a stay here for me and my two friends as a surprise trip away for their birthdays, everything was amazing and I was even allowed to decorate the barn aswell! The barn was super clean and perfect space to just have a little break away! Had the most relaxing weekend chilling in the pool and the hot tub which were all ready and waiting from the minute we arrived, it was lovely to have extra little breakfast bits and snacks already there and the hosts were lovely! We’re all super excited to book and stay again! Thanks so much!”
