The old house at Solnes Gard

Part of duplex on active farm. We are the third generation to run the farm after my husband's grandparents got the farm as a wedding gift. Here you get to stay in the original farmhouse from about 1950. We live in the other part of the residence ourselves. Cozy place, fully furnished and with everything you need for shorter or longer stays. We have 8 alpacas and many goats on the farm, you can join in on the care on demand and if we have the opportunity in a busy everyday life when we are in full work and have four small children.

A place you find peace and quiet and can enjoy your days without worries, here you can swim and enjoy yourselves in peace and quiet, the place is sheltered and without access. If they should rain, you can still sit dry under the roof and at the same time be outdoors. It is a small simple cabin with great outdoor opportunities. The cabin is surrounded by water and a river that goes down to the sea. There is also the convenience store and a hotel as well as a small gas station. You can use boat down the river to shop, or walk 5min.

Camping on the waterfront

Here you live in scenic and quiet surroundings - and at the same time only 12 minutes away from Ålesund city centre. You are close to nature - and may want to see both seals and otters. Find your perfect place to pitch the tent - or would you like to hang the hammock between the trees? If you have a camper, this can be in the parking lot right next door. This is our private area - with a simple house with a toilet and a small sink with cold water. Cable drum with the possibility of easy charging. Possibility of renting a kayak.

This is a private place without neighbors (except us in the main house). Experience nature at its best, with access to mountains and fjords and all that it entails. It is a very touristic place where you can find souvenir shops, tourist offices, supermarkets, medical centers, museum, aquarius, several restaurants and coffee shops.
