Welcome to Hästmosshult – a small, charming village in the heart of northern Småland, where tranquility meets rural life. In the village today there are horses, cows and sheep that create life in the village. Take a scenic walk around the village (about 1.8 km) or enjoy a swim in Lake Findeln (a simple swimming area), where the Stångån river quietly winds its way forward.

Cottage Uddebo, private beach and garden

Uddebo is located right on Lake Rosjön, just 10 km north of the beautiful wooden town of Eksjö. The house is located on a headland out on the lake and enjoys a unique lakeside location with a lake view from every part of the house. From the living room and the bedroom, you can access a wooden deck with steps down to the garden and the dock. It is a scenic and secluded location, with houses nearby but not right next door. The proximity to Highway 32 makes it easy to get here. The road can be heard, but for the vast majority of guests, it is not perceived as a nuisance.

(nearest grocery store) Emils Katthult about 6 km. Among other things, two national parks, (Kvill and Skurugata), nearby with nice walking paths. Flea markets. Lovely nature outside the house for forest excursions or swimming and fishing.

From the cottage there are many excursion destinations and attractions, about 20 minutes to Astrid Lindgren's World and Nossenbadet in Vimmerby, about 40 minutes to Västervik. NOTE! A car is a must to get to the cottage as public transport is not available.

The accommodation is 90 sqm and sleeps 6+2 guests. Enjoy fast fiber internet with Wi-Fi. Explore Astrid Lindgren's World, just 15 km away, and create memories for both children and adults. During your stay, you can charge your car on site for a fee.

Stay in the middle of the woods by a lake but only 13 kilometers (3 km gravel road) from Vimmerby. In the large cottage, there is a refrigerator, LPG stove and fresh water in a container (not running water) but there is lake water in the faucet at the outdoor kitchen. The small cottage has an indoor toilet and fresh water in containers. The electricity is powered by a battery bank and solar cells. Outdoor sauna and boat available.
