Urnes Gard - Quirky cottage

The kitchen is a cosy, small cottage that is best suited for couples, possibly with young children. It has its own patio with a screened terrace on one side and a small lawn on the other side. From the cabin you can see a mountain and fjord through a garden tunnel with operating buildings, but you don't have to go that far to get all the views you want! Welcome to Klokkargarden - the quiet pearl in Aurland! The old part of the house was built 1947 and we are now the 4th and 5th generation living here. It has always been Marit’s favourite place and it is growing on Espen as well. The new part of the house where you find your flat was was finished 2018. The outdoor area is still "work in progress" - but lift your eyes and you can see the beauty of the Aurlandsfjord. The flat is well suited for 2-3 adults or 2 adults plus 2 young children.

The "Firehouse" was built in 2004 with everything of modern qualities. There are heating cables in the floor, a private terrace, a great wood-burning oven and cultivation area just outside. The house has a bedroom and a loft. Just outside the door you will find popular hiking and biking trails. 6 min drive to Sogndal center, 4 min away is Kaupanger center with grocery and ViteMeir center, nice for big and small! 2 min away you will find pool, playground and gym.
