The light, the water and the beautiful nature are absolutely magical on this part of Sydals. Walking and cycling, fishing, kayaking and dinghy and kite surfing are popular activities.

Peace, sea, nature, history, soul and charm right by Flensburg Fjord/Forde. Our house sleeps 6 guests. Nice kitchen and bathroom, large living room with TV and internet and 180 degree sea view. 3 large bedrooms and all with the most beautiful view of Flensburg Fjord. Gendarmstien/Gendarmenwanderweg and fantastic nature as a neighbor, close to Flensburg and Sønderborg and walking distance to the restaurants Pearl, Sivgaarden and Providence. Doors are decorated with landscape motifs by artist Wilhelm Dreesen.

Marielund: A scenic farmhouse by the beach

Marielund is a danish farmhouse (est. 1907) in a beautiful and isolated spot right by the baltic sea. It has been completely refurbished, and includes modern amenities, a fireplace and good quality Scandinavian country style furnishing (completed in May 2020). Stunning location, 40 meters from a private beach with direct access through the large south facing garden. Enjoy the sounds of the sea, birdsong and the nights sky in absolute privacy, with no neighbours or tourism to be seen!

The place is ideal for families with children, "take the children by the hand and walk directly via the garden through forest and green areas to the beach" - approx. 250 meters.

The price includes breakfast (homemade organic bowls etc.) Coffee and tea for free use as well as linens and towels. Parking lot right next to the circus wagon. 300 m to public transport by bus no. 110 from Sønderborg, Gråsten and Flensburg.

Cozy annex/backhouse with a private living area, sleeping space, and kitchenette – perfect for relaxation. Please note: Bathroom, kitchen, and a small gym are located in a separate building just 10 meters away. Outdoor area with a fire pit and grill, peace and quiet. We live on the farm ourselves in case you need anything. An ideal spot for both a weekday escape and focused work.
