We loved Elia's and Lina's place. It's the perfect cozy place to enjoy for a few days. They were responsive all the time, and gave us great suggestions of where to go around the area. The breakfast was magical, something that you shouldn't miss if you plan to go! Thanks for everything!

We visited Skälsnäs Gård for Easter with our two children of 1 and 4, and we had a great time. We haven't lived in a house with so much soul before, and we felt so comfortable. It's the perfect getaway for kids who love to play, both inside and out. The nature is very beautiful and the surroundings were quiet and idyllic. The house is older, but the kitchen and bathroom are equipped with modern amenities, and it was easy to cook for the family. Vaxjo is the main town nearby and it takes about 30 min by car. Cozy town with good bakeries and cafes. Since there are no shopping opportunities close by, we recommend making a meal plan so you don't have to shop every day. There is a water park (Actic) that our kids loved and we visited twice. The place is easy to find and the host was super friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We will definitely come back.

the cottage, the location and Helen and Morgan were all great. We loved our time in the house and at Helen and Morgan's place. For us, this is a perfect location. Our son loved the farmyard to play and walk around. Staying here is perfect. The hosts are very friendly and cheerful. They are happy to talk to you and are very helpful. The nature here is beautiful and you can also be quickly in beautiful places from here, such as the coast, Varberg, Gekås or Gotenburg. We'll be back 100%.

The house is really clean and it has all the necessary (a lot of kitchen utensils, spices, some food from previous guests, shower gel and shampoo, etc.), for a cozy stay. The surrounding of the house is just amazing. Phil is really nice and helpful. Looking forward to coming back!

We had a nice time in the lovingly furnished apartment. There was everything you needed and the area offers many nice opportunities for different activities. Stellan and Annika were very nice hosts :)

The house is the ideal starting point, especially for children and lovers of the classic Småland idyll. The furnishings are also original as 100 years ago, but offers current standards. Accessible with ramp at the entrance, if registered in advance. The living room is unfortunately on the upper floor, only accessible via a steep staircase, but since there is a large kitchen and Wi-Fi we did not miss much. The lake is about 2 km away. Hilly, so for fit cyclists or e-bikes. Wheelchair users should also be electrified. Ideally suited for dogs. Impressive nature in the immediate vicinity, including a nearby national park. Astrid Lindgren Park, Katthult-Hof, Elk Safari Park and much more are easily accessible, but away from any mass tourism. Plenty of relaxing tranquility and complete freedom for children, dogs… And not unimportant: very friendly landlords who are happy to accommodate special requests. An absolutely awesome stay. Quiet and private :) good to get some energy. Awesome hikes and lakes around and not too far from the next big city. We had such a fun and adventurous time and the home made it even more worth it

Just back from a 3 night stay at this property and it was excellent. Very relaxing and private accommodation perfect for sauna, jacuzzi, roasting marshmallows and barbecue grilling. Short stroll into the forest and 15 minute drive to large super markets. All at just over an hours drive from Copenhagen 😊 Highly recommended for a relaxing break.

Amazing place and super friendly hosts. I will highly recommend it to everyone who loves nature and animals. The house was super cozy and the separation toilet worked really well. We would love to come back ❤️

Perfect stop for our travel from Sweden to France

The place was super clean, perfect size for us (2 adults, a 3-month-old baby and a small dog). We felt super comfortable and everything was available. Even a crib and high chair were available in the accommodation. If you are traveling in a group of four, the sofa bed can be used in addition to the double bed. The heating and air conditioning were also available and worked well. The outdoor area was great, so we were able to have breakfast on the terrace a few times. Sölve and Ingegerd are super lovely people and always available immediately. For children it is also a dream, hiking through the cow pasture, chickens next to the climbing frame and the climbing frame itself are really great. Directly from the farm you could start two great hikes that led directly through blueberry and cranberry forests. We will be happy to come back and highly recommend the accommodation.

Kosy and quiet location, the host was very friendly and everything was as expected.

Maria was a wonderful host, always quick to respond and very kind and flexible. On arrival there was a fire burning in the stove and the house was warm and cozy. Maria also topped up our firewood throughout our stay. The beds we used were comfortable and it was very nice to have towels and sheets included and to not have to clean before we left. We hope to return some day in the summertime!

The place was perfect! Everything very clean and furnished to a high standard. In addition, Gary was always very easy to reach, very friendly and gave us many recommendations in the area. Absolutely recommended and one of the nicest places we've ever been to!

We had a very nice time in the cottage. The children could play in the garden and in the evening we made ourselves comfortable by the fireplace. Very nice house, there is everything you need.

Mona‘s place is wonderful. Very cosy and everything is neat and tidy. We loved staying here. However, it is probably best to come here by car. There is a bus station about a 10 min walk away but make sure to check the schedule beforehand.

Ulla was super nice and helpful. The garden was absolutely magical and I sat long moments in it and felt the peace of the water, the flowers, the trees and birds chirping. Super lovely and recovered :)
