Grandpa's House

Vacation home at beautiful Hakkstabben. The house is close to the sea, great mountains and wild nature. You can rent a boat from us (Sting HT 600 PRO) from May 1 to the end of August to go fishing or look around and enjoy the sea life. The house is equipped with kitchen equipment, bed linen, towels, detergents, etc. At the hosts who live just across the road from the holiday home, you can buy fresh eggs. But there are no shops or restaurants on Hakkstabben, so you need to bring what you need for food and beverages.

All rooms offer views of Hammerfest harbor area, Melkøya, and Håja. It's located on a side street, just a 5-minute walk from the city center. Let us know if you need parking. In the summer, it may be possible to park for free with us. In the winter, we can help you find parking elsewhere.

35 km from Alta Airport (45 minutes' drive). 217 km to Nordkapp. Dogs are welcome! Nessehuset i Nuvsvåg har fantastiske utsiktsforhold! Her kan du se direkte til fjell og hav! Midnattsol og Nordlys! Nuvsvåg har nydelige forhold for toppturer på ski! Høye fjell med bla Finnmarks høyeste fjell Loppatind (1175 moh) og isbreen Øksfjordjøkulen. I Nuvsvåg kan du også gjøre andre utendørsaktivteter som gåturer, fisking i ferskvann og hav - bærplukking etc. Nuvsvåg har matbutikk og båtutleie. Nærmeste flyplass er i Alta. Det bor nå ca 70 fastboende i Nuvsvåg.
