“The apartment is great! The bathroom, which is integrated in the bedroom, has a style that gives you a bit of a mini-loft feeling. WiFi, air conditioning, a full kitchen with induction stove and the common kitchen appliances are available. Also a good washing machine. Everything is lovingly and functionally furnished. Kitchen utensils and the most common ingredients for cooking are already available. The bed is good and the windows can be completely darkened by shutters, who also wants to sleep. In the outdoor area is a beautiful own planted terrace with tables and chairs available; in addition, a private area with sun loungers where you can enjoy the sun. The premises are attached to the main house of the owner family and are located on a closed private property (as well as the parking lot) with electric entrance gate. Since the apartment is built back and slightly offset, you can enjoy privacy despite the proximity to the main building in the apartment and on the terrace. The house is located in a quiet side street, but is still close to the main transport links. Within 3-5 minutes walking distance there is a small grocery store (Proxi) which also sells bread, a cafe with excellent coffee and two restaurants. I personally only ate in the "Le Relais" and all the food, the garden and the service were excellent. 2-3 minutes on foot, there is also a larger bakery. By car, everything is just a stone's throw away. The overall situation is extremely favorable, since Sotta is almost between Bonifacio and Porto-Vecchio. Both villages and the numerous associated dream beaches can be reached in 15-20 minutes by car. You will receive a warm welcome and there are various information neatly bundled on arrival. In the fridge, jam, butter, beer and water are offered for reception. Fanny, as well as her parents, are super friendly and very responsive to questions, tips and any needs. If you wish, it will be very easy to find a friendly conversation that is good and happy to end in a common aperitif. I had a very nice evening with the family, because I have accepted the offer gladly, but who does not want this, will not experience any obtrusiveness. Perfect, lovely but also very professional hosts. All in all an absolutely great value at an ideal location for someone looking to explore southern Corsica by car!”
