We had the loveliest stay at Freedom Lodge - such a peaceful place and Asela and his family are so welcoming! The stay was perfect, just like the photographs and so comfortable & clean. We also loved the outside space with tables and chairs in the shade. Asela was an exceptional host, super friendly and communicative - he picked us up from the airport and even dropped us to Kandy after the stay as he is also a taxi driver - as well as helping us arrange tuktuks for local trips. We would definitely recommend Freedom Lodge, and would love to stay here again if we are lucky enough to come back to Sri Lanka😊

Never had we stayed in a homestay before, but our stay at 4C’s little paradise was nothing short of magical. It was a great break from our daily monotonous life and staying in a cozy homely place away from home. The Rooms were clean, spacious, and well maintained and you cannot not fall in love with the old school vibe of the place.Special thanks to Aunty and Sharath for taking care of us like their own family and giving us the sweetest life lessons. The Food was amazing, the breakfast is not to be missed at all. We’re hoping to be back soon!

A serene and secluded retreat in a Rajasthan village. The location is truly isolated, with no one around for a 4 km radius. While this offers peace and tranquility, it can feel a bit eerie at times. The hosts, however, were extremely friendly and welcoming, making the stay enjoyable. I would recommend this place if you’re looking for a unique and immersive experience in rural Rajasthan.

Lovely stay with Anirud and his family! they take great care of the place and create a very peacful familiar vibe. Infelt immediately at home thanks to homecooked food, a spacious garden chillout area and cozy rooms. Toilet facilities although shared were always very clean. Ani was also very helpful, he received me at night, helped me organize a trekking trip and so on. Full five stars☀️

Friendly hosts, super clean and beautiful bathroom. The bed is huge. Uchith was really kind and he even put a glass to the bathroom window because I was afraid of spiders! Thank you so much Uchith for the stay!😊

My husband and I booked this place so that our 2 dogs could swim in the lake nearby. They were also allowed to be off leash on the property. Pratibha and her husband are wonderful hosts who welcomed all 4 of us and made sure that we were very well taken care of! The food here is absolutely amazing, home-cooked and is served with love. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back :)

Very kind and attentive staff. We felt very welcomed at Kandé. Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner are a must to try, one of the tastiest Sri Lankan food we tried so far. Only thing is you can hear the people in other rooms very clearly, luckily everyone goes to sleep very early so it was not a problem in the night :) another thing to consider are the dogs if you are afraid of them since there are several on the property and they hang out in the entrance and restaurant area. Very nice architecture and furniture/decoration pieces, very warm and cozy surrounding. Highly recommended! :)

The place is absolutely wonderful. The rooms are very esthetically pleasing and the hosts have put in lots of thought and taken care of very minute details which most other places often miss out.. for example - mosquito repellant conveniently placed indoors as well as outdoors for the guests to use... the service staff is super polite and wonderful... special shout out to Harish and Kallesh who made our stay truly amazing... the food was very tasty and we enjoyed and looked forward for the meals.. every dish we ordered was fantastic... Definitely a place I look forward to coming back to... PS - check out the various paintings and artifacts on sale... these have been made by Kallesh..

I came for a day, and stayed for over a month. Old Manali is wonderful, and peaceful place to stay. This guest house is in a great location inside the town. It was a bit hard to find, yet it all worked out in the end. Aayush's friend Anshul was managing the place, and helped me a lot to settle in the place. We went together to the hot spring in Vashist, and he showed me good local places to eat. Also the other guests were relaxed, and welcoming. They were all local digital nomads, we shared evening and food in the place. All in all, this place is a mellow gem in Old Manali with a beautiful view to the mountains. I can definitely recommend it for a short or long stay.

Ceddar hill lodge was definitely one of my best homestay experiences ever! I will cherish the 4 days I spent nestled amidst the hills with a view to die for, enjoying the silence and some great food by the chef. Spent my days reading books with hot cups of coffee, evening barbeques, doing yoga on the terrace, walking around, forest bathing, bird watching, sightseeing & waking up to the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen. I wish this trip didn't end. Atul and Garima, thank you for your kindness, sensetive concern and prompt responsiveness. We are definitely coming back soon with our friends and family!

Had the most peaceful weekend at Ramisera Wilds! Not only is the property beautiful and set amidst the most gorgeous forest, everyone was super helpful and friendly. Shout out to Kapil, Anil, Sonu, and the most brilliant chefs! Will definitely visit again and hopefully see some more wildlife! 😄

As I was taking my young kids to India for the first time, I was apprehensive, especially since it was the rainy season in Kerala. David made our stay easy to coordinate and was helpful in all aspects. The peaceful area and quiet surroundings are a great location to unwind and plan other trips within the country, as was our case. David and his wife made us feel at home and were always cordial, quick to answer our questions, and always available. I would return to David's place and highly recommend it to anyone. An fantastic location.

Breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere made our stay truly unforgettable! The cliff-view balcony was a highlight, and the infinity pool was stunning. While there was a slight accessibility issue - the steep path from the reception area to the cottage requires a 4-wheeler - it didn't detract from our otherwise perfect stay. Highly recommend this listing!

I had a memorable stay at Pratibha’s place. The hospitality, the food, the view, and the warmth shown by the father of the house were heartwarming and beyond expectation and will forever be itched in my memory. If you want to truly feel the hospitality of the mountains go for this blindly. I’m already considering coming back here again after a few months if things are welll 😊🙂 One can truly explore all the tourists and hidden spots in and around Kullu and Manali.

Very peaceful and cozy place to stay for the night. I visited this place from Houston, Texas. Felt like home excellent service with food and accommodation. Hot breakfast and lunch. Will definitely recommend anyone who is traveling to kumrat. It is in the middle of the mountains. Very reasonable rates clean rooms with hot water and AC. Will be back here soon. The Treehouse was a lovely break from city life however still local enough that in 10 minutes you had shops and restaurants. The treehouse itself was absolutely lovely & we really enjoyed it. Prepare yourself to embrace every part of nature, I know it can’t be avoided due to location and venue however be ready for ants !!!!& don’t forget your bug spray
