Vacation rentals with lake access in South Glengarry

Marc’s place checked off all our boxes for a wonderful weekend getaway celebrating my 30th birthday. Space was big enough for our 10 guests to comfortably sleep. Large dining room table to sit all of us for meals. Enough space in the backyard to play games and plenty of seating available. Fire pit was our favourite part with plenty of firewood to use! Marc was responsive to my messages and answered all my questions in a timely manner. Could not recommend this place more!

Our stay was great! Absolutely beautiful log cabin perfectly tucked away and private! We didn’t have great weather when we went seeing as it was the middle of the winter, but the game room was a great feature and kept us busy the whole stay!

We had an amazing time, the house was exactly as advertised, and the hosts were extremely responsive with questions/answers. We felt right at home, the house had everything needed for a cozy stay. Gorgeous view and we will be coming back 100%.

The view from this place is very beautiful, especially sunrise on the lake… Place was very clean, had everything we needed. We were able to enjoy this place on a sunny as well as rainy day, as view is visible from living room.. I am going to go back with friends again.

Third stay at Butternut Bay, and it truly does feel like a home away from home. We have such special family memories because of Butternut Bay and its owner, first Jeanne, and now Meagan who is continuing her legacy--and it really does feel like that. Meagan cares that your time at Butternut is one you will remember. We thoroughly enjoyed her sharing of the St Lawrence Seaway map online, so we were able to track and learn more about the ships that were passing, day and night! Looking forward to our next stay, and more amazing family moments. Thank you Meagan!

Beautiful location! The house was very well stocked. The hospitality was 10/10. Our group had a great time. One of the best Airbnb experiences I have had!

I don't even know where to start! This is incredible! The house is really clean! Cozy! Light! Warm! Friends work in construction business and they checked the house with a special black light!Everything is perfectly clean! This is the house i would like to rent in the future! We’ve stayed in Airbnb’s all over the world and this immediately became one of our favorites. Beautiful spot on the river, relaxing hot tub and everything was super clean. The place was very comfortable for our family. It was a rainy weekend, so we didn’t get to take full advantage of all the outdoor amenities but hope to come back at some point for pickleball and kayaking.

Loved that there was a fully stocked kitchen with dishes and appliances. Plenty of breakfast food left in the fridge. Location perfect for buses, and a 10 minute walk to the river.

We absolutely loved our stay! The space was beautifully decorated, spotless, and perfect for a girls’ getaway. The location was fantastic—right across the street from the river! Renting bikes was quick and easy, and my friend and I had a great time riding to the market. If you prefer to stay close, there are charming coffee shops and delicious restaurants just a short walk away. Everything was convenient, friendly, and added to a relaxing and fun trip. Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful, hidden gem in the Village of Waddington, NY. The apartment has a beautiful view of the St. Lawrence River a gorgeous patio and access to the river. It is beautifully decorated, everything inside is new, we felt we were the first to visit! Finally I can't say enough great things about our hostess, Michele, she made our stay very comfortable! Thank you, we'll be back!

Sam was a great host and quick to respond to our questions. It was a great location with walkable food and shopping. I would stay there again and recommend it to others travelling there.

The house is outstanding. Everything you need for a perfect stay. Beds are very comfortable and we all slept well. Kitchen fully equipped. Super clean and beautifully decorated. The views are incredible. Hosts were very responsive plus gave us tips of places to eat and told us things that are going on in the area. Super friendly. We will definitely be back to stay again. We really enjoyed our stay! The home was clean, quiet, and had a lovely ambiance that made it easy to relax. The hot tub was a great bonus and added to the peaceful, private atmosphere. It was also very convenient— the location made getting around simple. A small suggestion: adding shades or blinds to the large windows and doors would help with privacy, especially in the evenings. Overall, a great place to stay—would definitely recommend!

Joni’s cottage is beautiful, spacious and full of charm, highly recommend! It is perfectly appointed, kitchen is very well equipped with tons of dishes and cookware. Cottage is right on a small lake with a waterfall just a short hike away on the property. Lots of games and a lovely fireplace for chilly nights. Joni was very responsive and a pleasure to correspond wiht, this is a gem!

Great place, right on the lake, very clean and has 2 paddle boats to explore the lake. Highly recommend!

Nous avons passé un merveilleux réveillon de Noël auprès du feu dans le joli cottage de Barbara. Les environs étaient sublimes. Le logement confortable. Barbara a été une hôte adorable, flexible sur les horaires ce qui nous a permis de profiter au maximum, réactive lorsque nous avions des questions. Nous nous sommes vraiment senti accueillis et choyés. Merci beaucoup!
