Vacation rentals with lake access in South Glengarry

We stayed at Chris’ place to celebrate our grandson’s first birthday party. The location was ideal for us & exactly as advertised. We’ll be back to stay in the spring/summer when we can enjoy the beautiful deck, fire pit & kayaks.

Marc’s place checked off all our boxes for a wonderful weekend getaway celebrating my 30th birthday. Space was big enough for our 10 guests to comfortably sleep. Large dining room table to sit all of us for meals. Enough space in the backyard to play games and plenty of seating available. Fire pit was our favourite part with plenty of firewood to use! Marc was responsive to my messages and answered all my questions in a timely manner. Could not recommend this place more!

Our stay was great! Absolutely beautiful log cabin perfectly tucked away and private! We didn’t have great weather when we went seeing as it was the middle of the winter, but the game room was a great feature and kept us busy the whole stay!

The view from this place is very beautiful, especially sunrise on the lake… Place was very clean, had everything we needed. We were able to enjoy this place on a sunny as well as rainy day, as view is visible from living room.. I am going to go back with friends again.

Third stay at Butternut Bay, and it truly does feel like a home away from home. We have such special family memories because of Butternut Bay and its owner, first Jeanne, and now Meagan who is continuing her legacy--and it really does feel like that. Meagan cares that your time at Butternut is one you will remember. We thoroughly enjoyed her sharing of the St Lawrence Seaway map online, so we were able to track and learn more about the ships that were passing, day and night! Looking forward to our next stay, and more amazing family moments. Thank you Meagan!

Beautiful location! The house was very well stocked. The hospitality was 10/10. Our group had a great time. One of the best Airbnb experiences I have had!

I don't even know where to start! This is incredible! The house is really clean! Cozy! Light! Warm! Friends work in construction business and they checked the house with a special black light!Everything is perfectly clean! This is the house i would like to rent in the future! We’ve stayed in Airbnb’s all over the world and this immediately became one of our favorites. Beautiful spot on the river, relaxing hot tub and everything was super clean. The place was very comfortable for our family. It was a rainy weekend, so we didn’t get to take full advantage of all the outdoor amenities but hope to come back at some point for pickleball and kayaking.

Loved that there was a fully stocked kitchen with dishes and appliances. Plenty of breakfast food left in the fridge. Location perfect for buses, and a 10 minute walk to the river.

We had a great experience at Beth’s great place! We arrived set to have a full agenda. Plans changed as a result of a weather front. We found ourselves with time to relax and enjoy the home. Everything was as described with the setting beyond expectations. We spent an entire afternoon overlooking the water and catching up on valuable family time. Our dinner at Jake’s a mile away capped off a perfect weekend. We will be back again

We absolutely loved our stay! The space was beautifully decorated, spotless, and perfect for a girls’ getaway. The location was fantastic—right across the street from the river! Renting bikes was quick and easy, and my friend and I had a great time riding to the market. If you prefer to stay close, there are charming coffee shops and delicious restaurants just a short walk away. Everything was convenient, friendly, and added to a relaxing and fun trip. Highly recommend!

Geraldine and Benoits home is so beautiful and cozy! From the moment we pulled up we were greeted and shown around the apartment. Which is much bigger than it appears in photos and also so clean and beautiful! The home has everything you need and then some. The owners have gone out of their way to make it extra special. The view of the water is stunning and we woke up to the sounds of nature in the back yard. Dont hesitate to book this one! It’s one of the best I’ve stayed in! This is a beautiful, hidden gem in the Village of Waddington, NY. The apartment has a beautiful view of the St. Lawrence River a gorgeous patio and access to the river. It is beautifully decorated, everything inside is new, we felt we were the first to visit! Finally I can't say enough great things about our hostess, Michele, she made our stay very comfortable! Thank you, we'll be back!

We really enjoyed our stay! The home was clean, quiet, and had a lovely ambiance that made it easy to relax. The hot tub was a great bonus and added to the peaceful, private atmosphere. It was also very convenient— the location made getting around simple. A small suggestion: adding shades or blinds to the large windows and doors would help with privacy, especially in the evenings. Overall, a great place to stay—would definitely recommend!

Joni’s cottage is beautiful, spacious and full of charm, highly recommend! It is perfectly appointed, kitchen is very well equipped with tons of dishes and cookware. Cottage is right on a small lake with a waterfall just a short hike away on the property. Lots of games and a lovely fireplace for chilly nights. Joni was very responsive and a pleasure to correspond wiht, this is a gem!

Great place, right on the lake, very clean and has 2 paddle boats to explore the lake. Highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful location, we loved waking up and seeing the deer in the yard! Hot tub was just what we needed after our hike!
