Vacation rentals with a fireplace in South Historic District, Savannah

Amanda's house was perfectly clean upon our arrival and very well stocked for the whole family's needs. Amanda was very responsive to anything that came up during our stay. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, walkable and welcoming to families. There is a great park a few minutes walk from the house. Overall we had a great stay and recommend the property to anyone looking!

Great warm vibes when you enter. Immaculately clean. Snack tray was a nice gesture. Close to shopping and restaurants. Dog friendly. 👍🏻😎

Our family of 5 spent 5 nights in Tricia's house and we had a fantastic time there. The location on Whitemarsh Island is perfect to visit this magnificent region, Savannah, Tybee Island, the Wildlife Refuge, to discover the marsh with a boat (I recommend captain Rob Faddis of the Isle of Hope Cruises). Safe parking in front of the house, in 4 minutes ride a Walmart, a Publix and other small shops, even a location of the famous Leopold's Ice Cream. The house, which is in a nice, very quiet neighborhood, is clean, cute and super comfortable, has extra large beds with good mattresses. It is very well equipped: there are even beachtowels, beach chairs, a cooler bag. You can find everything you need in the kitchen (also oil, lot of spices, sugar, tea, coffee) and I also liked the plastic food containers (we were able to take our own made pasta salad and sandwiches to the beach to have a picknick). Tricia is a great and kind host, we could spend a whole summer in her wonderful house.

The house was gorgeous! A beautiful place to stay, and we were in love with the wallpaper (especially in the bathrooms). It easily fit our group of 8, and Aniston was a lovely host who addressed our issues with a previous guest in a timely and caring manner. Would recommend, and if we stay in Savannah again we will be looking here first!

We had a great time! Amanda’s place is super convenient to downtown Savannah, and the house was adorable and clean which we super appreciated. Very quiet neighborhood as well!

This charming historic cottage was everything I hoped for and more. Tucked away in the heart of Savannah, it offered the perfect blend of Southern charm and modern comfort. The space was immaculately clean, thoughtfully decorated, and full of character—from the cozy furnishings to the little historic touches that made it feel truly special. The location couldn’t have been better. It was peaceful yet just a short walk from all the sights, restaurants, and shops in the historic district. I loved starting my mornings on the porch with a cup of coffee, soaking in the quiet beauty of the neighborhood and Green square. Shower was hot, kitchen was functional, plenty of towels and coffee and washer/dryer was a bonus. Wi-Fi was strong. Our host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, allowing me to check in early. You can tell there’s a lot of pride in this property, and it made our visit to Savannah feel like home. Highly recommend —I'd stay here again as this one one of my favorites!

Absolutely perfect! I got married this weekend and my mom and maid of honor and I stayed the night before my wedding and then my husband and I stayed the night of as we got married at a venue right around the corner. It was so welcoming and perfect for what we needed. Thank you!

Darryl and Beth were wonderful hosts! The home and its location were perfect for our long weekend trip. There was easy shopping within a 10-minute walk around the corner for any quick, last-minute pickups. The rest of downtown Savannah’s sites were also within a longer walking distance, or a quick ride away! We had a minor maintenance issue that Beth responded to incredibly quickly and had fixed within 5 hours, even on a holiday weekend. I cannot overstate how responsive and accommodating Darryl and Beth were throughout the stay. We would be happy to return here for our next stay in Savannah!

I really enjoyed our stay! convenient location, most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in! The only thing that was a little annoying at times was parking but that is going to be anywhere and we have a truck so keep that in mind and pay attention to street sweeping times. We got a ticket. But for the most part that was us not being used to it. One side of the street is a different time than the other. Go figure. lol. You can hear the people upstairs so if you are a light sleeper that might be a problem for you. It doesn’t bother us so we slept great.

The house was perfect. up the stairs in the back. 2 bedrooms with extra small room with daybed/trundle and the added sleeper sofa were nice. Our group of 7 all had a place to sleep. pros: location! (neighboring cafe/eatery++), large balcony, clean, house hold supplies present. nice to have 2 bathrooms with 7 females for sure. love the character of this older home. coffee bar was a nice touch. cons: issue with back door closing securely (required a good pull to ensure locked), uncomfortable mattresses 😟, lack of mirrors, no broom?, just FYI single panel windows so noisy (may want to bring sound machine if you're a light sleeper). We enjoyed our stay! and would definitely recommend!

What a GEM! Pardon the pun Jewell :) We stayed for 6 wks- Feb thru March. Absolutely loved the location, property and Jewell was a perfect host. Had contacted her a couple times for questions, she was responsive and pleasant. The house fit our needs spot on. Very happy to have been able to find such a great place that allowed my 2 well behaved cats. Used the back patio many times, it was a great space. The house had all the amenities you would need, absolutely everything. We drove from Maine with a Thule full of clothes and some odds and ends. We took advantage of the perfect location into Savannah. Downtown is about 1 mile away, totally walkable. There is a free bus 2.5 blocks away that takes you into town. Area is safe and no problem parking. We went to 29 different sites by bus, walking into town or day trips by car. We ate at 27 different eateries and restaurants. There is SO much to do My advice is 'DO NOT WAIT to book this perfect spot' We'll be back next year

This charming and beautiful place is just as pictured...so cozy and pleasant. Very convenient location, and all rooms are thoughtfully appointed. The hosts are super responsive, friendly and helpful! They made great food recommendations. We felt very appreciated, welcomed and taken care of! Staying here was part of the pleasure of being in Savannah.

The accomadation was beautiful, spacious and very comfortable. it was a lovely place to come home to after a long day of walking and exploring. Ron was gracious and generous with his time and went out of his way to helpus when we had a snafu with our next accomadations. The nieghborhood is quiet and centrally located. I would highly recommend!

This place was a Gem and in the perfect location! Taller travelers: Just a heads up🤣 I agree with a previous review stating the shower head does sit a little lower if you have a taller guest, so my husband was already aware of this:) For traveling parents: It was just a touch difficult bathing my toddler in the shower (no bath and was stone/tile) but we made it work☺️ a pack and play was available! Agreeing with another comment for children purposes, it is located on a louder street but not too bad for nap/bed time. Everything was as described and cozy, comfy, and walkable. We will definitely come back to this apartment! Nancy was very kind and responsive. I hate to leave any “con” reviews ever so this is more of an “awareness” review for traveling with kiddos ❤️ we still loved it and would recommend to anyone!

This place was so awesome! Being right on the park was amazing, right after we checked checking in we looked out our window and witnessed a big beautiful wedding. It was our anniversary so of course I teared up, hugged my husband and we danced around to the faint sound of the music the bride walked down the aisle to. The location was perfect and easy to get to and from. We explored all of Savannah and headed to Tybee Island for a day for a change of scenery. Deborah was great she recommended some great restaurants and was prompt in responding. We would definitely come back!

This place was amazing! Not too far from the downtown historical district. Charlie was a great host extremely responsive when messaging him. The sauna bathroom room was absolutely amazing we used it every nite!!! Also there’s the heated pool and hotub outside!

We absolutely loved Daufuskie Island and this property! Mrs. Shannon was so very helpful with all her recommendations and her home is beautiful! You have an amazing view of the ocean, the golf cart that was included was perfect and she thought of everything you might need during your stay all the way down to the q-tips! Daufuskie is a simple, laid back, relaxing hidden gem of SC and we will DEFINITELY be back (maybe even retire there someday) Thank you Mrs. Shannon!!
