Cabin vacation rentals in South India

We chose this place for a holiday with our toddler.. We usually visit south Goa but these A-frame cottages made us visit Mandrem and we are so glad we did that.. This place is just magical and full of nature.. surrounded by jack fruit and mango trees.. The cottage itself was super cosy and our toddler just loved everything about the place.. She loved the tiny nook they have created.. The open air bath tub experience was so good and relaxing.. the place is super clean.. The staff there was so humble and friendly especially the estate manager Mr. Dhaval Rathi.. He was so humble and very professional I must say.. He made sure that we will get whatever we ask for our toddler whether it's asking us to cut water melon or papaya for her or a smaller portion of daal rice.. We are really grateful for such a nice gesture because we experience it very little while staying with a kid while travelling.. And yes the most important thing they allowed us to charge our ev..

It’s serene and how! From the privacy to the food, the villa and the jacuzzi is the property is the place for you and your partner to pamper yourself. Mayank and team was helpful and courteous the second we stepped foot in the rooms.

The place was very nice and the hosts very accommodating& nice. Pubudu was very easily accessible & spontaneously organized us a tuk tuk driver for picking up from the train station , with which we also explored the area! We would also recommend this - Mr. Gamage was incredibly nice, showed us a lot and explained& brought us back to the train station the next day. Would we recommend to anyone who, like us , only spends one night there to take advantage of the offer. The trip with Mr. Gamage was an absolute highlight for us!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The property is beautifully maintained, offering a serene and private atmosphere that made it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The surroundings were quiet, and I felt completely at ease throughout my stay If you're looking for a peaceful retreat to recharge and relax, I highly recommend this place.

Really great experience! It feels like we are in the middle of woods. We were scared initially because of how stranded and private the place was the main road. But once you are over it, it's so peaceful and calm. Thank you Jeff for hosting us <3

My stay at Priya's place in Calangute, Goa was absolutely wonderful! Everything about the experience was top-notch. The location was perfect for exploring Calangute, Baga, Anjuna and the property itself was very beautiful, comfortable, stylish, spacious. Priya was a fantastic host- incredibly responsive, helpful, friendly and welcoming, Communication was seamless, and she made sure we had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. The cleanliness, amenities were particularly impressive. I honestly couldn't fault a single thing. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic stay in Calangute. It's perfect for all type of travellers. A definite 5-star experience!

The property is absolutely stunning. Quiet, with just birds chirping and the sound of a flowing stream in the distance. In the evenings and night, you hear the wind. Rooms are nice, cozy and have an old world charm, gazebo is a definite ++ and there is a fire pit too to warm you when it's chilly. Food is absolutely great. The dosas are the best we have had ever. Beautifully aromatic, one of a kind! Other food that we ordered was great too, good portions and taste! There are quite a few things to do around - one can hike, go to viewpoints, go on a temple run, ride their bikes or just be lost in estate wilderness and walking trails. For us, the biggest value of the place was nature in its full glory without the hazards and distractions of the modern world. Beautiful, and we would very much like to be back! P.s. bring your doggos! They will love it! Ours just wanted to sun bathe or go for nature walks!

Although I booked the place by mistake as I thought it is very near to the Isha foundation, which was my final destination. I wanted to book a place to rest for a night and then keep my stuff there. But the place was 2 hours away from my destination, which was my mistake. But what a beautiful mistake it was. I met Shine, who is such a wonderful person. And I happened to visit the property which is actually hidden in the mountains of Kerala. Natural Beauty, Peaceful, good food, good talks with Shine, good cold breezy weather...... what else does a person need to unwind from the hustle of cities..... A perfect place to be if you need to unwind yourself.

Staying in this amazing treehouse was a truly unique and unforgettable experience. Completely open to the surrounding nature, we could hear the sounds of the wildlife throughout the night — from birds to insects to mammals — and it was fascinating to notice how the sounds changed as the night went on. It really felt like being cut off from the outside world, in the best possible way. The host was very welcoming and gave us great recommendations for local activities and places to eat. A magical stay in the heart of nature!

The welcome in itself is an experience here. Gabbar bhaiya was our go to person, he made our stay comfortable and easy. We stayed at Bella, it was a cosy, comfortable room. Overall, good stay. Highly recommended.

Cottage well-suited for two people with a pet. Beach is a 15+ minutes walk, but quite convenient with a vehicle. Clean apartment, well-stocked with basic necessities. Great host - friendly, responsive and extremely accommodating. My husband fell ill on the dates of our booking, but the host was flexible about dates basis their availability. Truly a delight factor! The caretaker was very helpful and made our stay very comfortable. Overall, great value for money! Definitely recommend.

A Hidden Gem in Nature's Lap! My stay at this Airbnb nestled near the forest was nothing short of magical! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the soothing sounds of nature—the rustling of leaves, birds singing, and the crisp forest air. The location is perfect for anyone looking to unwind and escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The Propeller itself was cozy and thoughtfully decorated, with all the amenities you could need. I especially loved the large windows that let in natural light and provided stunning views of the forest. Waking up to the serene sight of trees outside my window was an absolute treat. The host Malika was incredibly accommodating and responsive, ensuring that I had everything I needed throughout my stay. They also provided great recommendations for nearby spots to explore. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature, this is the perfect place. I left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated and can't wait to return!

What to say! Just a great location surrounded by rice fields. Your own swimming pool, and a full windows space to immerse in the nature. I spend to fabulous nights there and the hosts where really kind and attentive. I ordered a simple dinner for both days and I was treated like home. I’ll recommend it to my friends for sure!

Amazing location away from the city to Bond with friends and family.The place is located with the front view of Shivgange hill which is so beautiful to watch during the sunrise time. It’s quite comfortable and cozy for a night out. Would definitely recommend people to stay here

Had the opportunity to spend the most relaxing and the most peaceful day at The Romance this weekend. The owner is so friendly and thoughtful. Everything was nicely arranged and spacious. We would definitely go back and 100% recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for relaxation surrounded by greenery.

Our stay at ‘Coorgology’ was truly unforgettable ! Nestled amidst lush greenery, the property offered the perfect blend of privacy and adventure. Thejas was incredibly welcoming and went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed. Waking up to the serene sounds of birds and sipping coffee with a view of the misty hills was pure magic. Highly Recommended !!!

The Loja is a little piece of heaven tucked away in a quiet corner of a quaint village with an easy laidback charm. An excellent place to unwind and forget the cares of the world, a few days spent at this property can rejuvenate your body and replenish your soul. We especially loved all the attention to detail in the pretty little house and the hosts' eagerness to anticipate and meet our needs. In particular, the caretaker, Vincent , an embodiment of true Goan hospitality, was welcoming, attentive and left no stone unturned to make our stay exceptional. It is obvious the Loja is run by people that value their guests and take pleasure in hosting them.

Anamika’s place was amazing! If you’re looking for a beautiful, relaxing place to stay, with all the comforts of home, you will love this place. Her home cooked food was spectacular! My in laws that can find fault in everything said it was the best food they’ve had. The place was extremely clean, with comfortable beds and linens. She leaves a ton of delicious snacks and is a super responsive host. It was my first time in India, (husband is from India, I’m American)and out of all the places we stayed, this was hands done the cleanest with the best food. She even packed a few snacks for our little boy, on our departure. Anamika could teach a class in being the best hostess. We will definitely be back on our next trip to India.
