Shy Cottage

Shy Cottage is a stand alone 1890's settlers cottage, nestled at the back of our property, which allows for privacy and peace and quiet. Shy Cottage was moved onto the section in 2002 and was renovated and insulated so now is cosy, warm and romantic. There is a full kitchen with a dining area and lounge with a wood burner. Off the comfortable bedroom is a lovely bathroom with a claw foot bath and separate shower. The outdoor spa bath if available is an additional $20 per night

Check in early to make the most of your stay, enjoy a late checkout . One of few places to offer 1 night stays. Drop off your bags, have a coffee, enjoy some home baking before grabbing the free bikes for an easy cycle or walk to the dozen or so boutique vineyards, all within a flat 2-4km distance. 37 Burgundy Home is approximately a 10 minute walk to the town centre. The room has its own private entry, an en-suite and an outdoor patio area. In the room is a queen bed, a bar fridge, bread toaster, water kettle and TV. Wifi is free. As our guests you can use the shared Pinot Grove Residents heated salt water pool (closed from April 28 and opens again on Labour weekend) and the tennis court and trampoline as well.

Kent Street B&B

Our quiet and private traditional character home is located at the north end of Carterton and set in large mature grounds. The home is spacious, warm and sunny, with lovely timber features. It is only minutes from local cafes, dining options and Clareville Bakery. We are central to all Wairarapa’s attractions and destinations, and very handy if you're just passing through the region.
