Melt at Elbow Valley

SimonRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Ok, for those reading this review please do so knowing it is genuine, unsolicited and because I actually wanted to write a review about how wonderful our stay was. This is Melt and your host..... Melt is everything the other reviews say - yes, it's secluded, yes it's luxury, yes it's non pretentious, yes the rainshower that overlooks endless forest is magical and romantic, and yes you wake up to kangaroos hopping around in the forest to breathtaking sunrises as you sip a coffee in bed. (Hopefully made for you by your partner!) But let me talk about what is more important. The entire booking process was flawless. And attention to detail in every aspect, from HOW to actually get in, HOW to get there with clear directions, and WHO you are dealing with. A couple of hours from the hustle and bustle of Brisbane. The only thing you need to do when you arrive is unpack, smile, light the fire, and pour a relaxing glass of wine! Thankyou guys, this won't be the last time we visit!

Blue Maple Tenterfield Modern Farm House

MarniRating, 5 stars6 days ago
If you are hunting for a place to stay in Tenterfield, do not hesitate to book this absolutely gorgeous property. Paul is the perfect host, and he has put so much love, care, creativity and passion into preparing this character home for guests, it truly was a privilege to stay here for 2 nights with friends. Paul has a true talent for curating stunning interiors and exteriors. This home could easily be featured in a high-end living magazine. The inside spaces are warm, cosy and inviting, the kitchen has everything you need to prepare a gourmet meal, the bedrooms are fitted with luxe linen and the newly renovated bathrooms had plenty of hot water for all. There is also a fully functional laundry room complete with quality appliances and an ‘info corner’ featuring brochures n the local area. Art, books, eclectic found objects, ceramics and soft lamp light abound inside, and the visual treats continue when you step outside into the expansive garden. We will definitely be back! Thanks Paul

Pretty Pink Queenslander - Spectacular Views

GarethRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Wonderful couple of nights away from reality. The house and stay was more than you could imagine. Cathryn's attention to detail and little things that you would not get at a hotel were well thought of, making the stay even more homely. We took our two staffies who didn't get anxious of the new environment, very relaxed and the treat on arrival topped it off. Thankyou again Cathryn for the lovely memories for a quiet 50th❤️

Absolutely amazing place! We really enjoyed our stay. The photos do not do the area justice, it is super beautiful. Cabin was very welcoming and very spacey for 2 people. Great amenities as well. Rachel was incredibly hospitable as well!

Lane’s End Cottage - cosy farm stay

ShariRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Not sure I can add more to the already glowing, unanimous 5-star reviews, except to say it's all true . Extremely generous hosts. Plenty of milk, eggs, coffee, assortment of teas, thoughtful touches (Easter chocolates!), a fire-set up and ready to light, heaps of extra fire wood. All these little details mean so much to me when many hosts can be a bit stingy with things like only supplying 200ml of milk, or 2 or 3 tea bags, making you pay extra for firewood etc etc. The cottage has a great kitchen so you really can cook up a big meal if you want, with pantry basics (oil, vinegar, vegemite, etc) all available. Great recommendations in the (very thorough) guestbook for dining out. Fascinating things to see and do nearby. Had the weather been entirely dreadful - it would have been just as lovely to stay inside and read by the fire or watch a movie. So idyllic it's almost too good to be true. Thank you Shelley and Chris for a really special stay - it's already calling me back.

Cosy cabin in Tenterfield. Sleeps 4.

We stayed for one night and arrived after 5pm, our keys and instructions were waiting for us. The lodgings were clean and in great condition. We loved the town centre and enjoyed some great wines at Stone Fruit (local food and wine bar) and a great breakfast at Bad Manners outdoor cafe. We would recommend.

Clydesdale Cottage at Craven Hill Farm

AlonsoRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Our family stay at the cottage was peaceful amongst the beautiful Granite rock surrounds. Debbie, Allan and furry friend 'Mate' gave us a warm welcome and helped us with our belongings before giving us a full tour of the cottage. The cottage itself is very cosy and has comfy plush beds and plenty of bedding for those frosty cold nights. Allan was kind enough to offer to light the fireplace if we required it. I would gladly recommend their place for a location not so far away from town with everything you need. I would love to return on another visit to Stanthorpe. Thank you for the wonderful stay. We only wish we were there longer!

Unique Off-Grid Stay 'The Cabin @ Lonesome'

SuziRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Amanda was so thoughtful, she had fresh flowers in every room, a delicious fresh loaf of home made bread, local soaps and other products and she left useful items in the fridge such as pancake mix, milk, butter, eggs and fresh herbs from her garden. There were plenty of rugs and lots of firewood for warmth and a really comfy bed. She had a collection of small useful items including a phone charger, scissors, night lights, etc that we don't usually find in this type of accommodation. She was an excellent, thoughtful host of a wonderful, and quiet rural property. A perfect stay for a country escape.
