Houseboat vacation rentals in Southern France

Unusual accommodation exactly what we were looking for for our Christmas vacation. There would certainly be another way to moor the boat because the squeaking of the rope on the hull somewhat disrupts sleep. An excellent position facing the Château de Saumur and a well-equipped boat to have a pleasant stay on the Loire.

A small family weekend with my partner, great view, comfortable cottages with essentials on board, welcoming and friendly host, city center and lots of activities within easy walking or public transport. Great! Thanks for the weekend!

Great time spent with the kids in Bordeaux and in this atypical and comfortable accommodation: quality bedding, cleanliness of the premises… The boat was located close to transport and the city center 👍

If you're looking for a peaceful getaway with beautiful surroundings, this is the place. Our stay was perfectly relaxing and you will have to look hard to find a better host! Urs made everything very easy and he is a true Gent. So many things to like and enjoy about the place, from very peaceful early morning walks enjoying the sunrise, to the silent pitch dark nights with spectacular night sky views. We had a great night aboard the Robinson. The setting is perfect, with views of the castle, the cathedral and the Savate hold. This small floating cabin has everything you need for a cocooning stay on the water. Recommended!

Atypical accommodation, very well arranged, very well located for getting to the city center, on foot or by tram. Sandrine and Jean-Dominique (whom we met) are responsive, friendly and welcoming. A little noisy in the evening with the proximity to the bars, but nothing mean! Great stay in the heart of Nantes!

A fantastic and magical place, highly recommended, beautiful pond, breakfast bar and restaurant. There is the possibility of various activities and the spa with massages we could not do it that we did not have the costume, but we count for next time!

Andrea was very kind both in terms of flexible check-in and we felt pampered during the stay with room service. He was also quick to communicate our little forgetfulness in the room at our checkout. Great aperitif (paid aside) with a really great prosecco! the outdoor veranda is a real treat, my boyfriend really liked it!

Thanks to Florence for hosting us, the place is atypical, peaceful and exotic. We enjoyed the terrace and harbor views for a long time. And we slept very, very well. We felt super comfortable on Marie-Laure's houseboat. It was really special for us. The boat is kept simple but really clean and well-equipped. You have everything you need. We spent a lot of time on the sun deck: you have a lot of peace and a great view there. The area is also really fantastic: you can borrow a kayak or the like right next door and drive through the canal to the nearby lake. Supermarket, bakery, restaurants and bars are also right around the corner. The host, Marie-Laurie, was super friendly and very helpful. It was a pleasure meeting you in meeting her. All in all, really highly recommended!!

Roberto's floating container is really magical! We had a great first night, so good that we decided to stay one more night. Everything is like in the photos. The video guide for access is super convenient. So great, thanks Roberto!

A stay in a unique place to disconnect! The botel is spacious and well-equipped. Check-in, as well as communication, was simple and flexible. The botel is very well located, we did not take the car from the stay. Restaurants are accessible in Porto Ceresio along the lake, and it is possible to take the boat to go to Morcote. Thanks!

We’ve had a wonderful stay at the cottage on the water - don’t expect a luxury place, it’s very simple but nothing is missing. Good thing, you can stay there with your dog 🐕 beautiful views and place in the nature - thank you Amandine and Adrien.

Staying in the houseboat of Florence was a unique experience. The view at the water is magical, the spaces are arranged with great taste and are very convenient. Florence and Gil welcomed us as if we were longtime friends. A very nice experience that I warmly recommend.

We had a pleasant weekend in the Houseboat. It's truly an unusual place, where we are lulled by the little waves, and the boat owners are respectful. Alexandre was super responsive every time we had contact with each other. Please note that it is necessary to respect the guidelines that Alexandre provided in videos. If you hear the noise from the pump, that's normal, you just have to pull some water (or flush). We recommend this place 100%. Thanks again. Looking forward to it.
