Castle vacation rentals in Spain

Un lieu magnifique dans une très belle région. Nous y sommes restés seulement 2 jours, alors qu'il en faudrait au moins 15 pour bien profiter. Le lieu est chargé d'histoire, le beau-frère de Joaquin se fera un plaisir de vous la conter.

Très bonne semaine dans un petit village de caractère en pleine montagne. Maison typique fonctionnelle pour 8 personnes. Hôte très sympathique et arrangeante. Je recommande ce logement pour passer de belles vacances!

Nuestra estancia en la Casa Rural Masía El Pinet en Alfafara fue excepcional. Sergio, el propietario, nos recibió con gran amabilidad y nos sorprendió con una deliciosa coca dulce casera para nuestro grupo de 15 personas. La casa, situada en plena naturaleza, es encantadora, está impecablemente limpia y perfectamente equipada. Recomendamos encarecidamente esta experiencia y agradecemos a Sergio por su hospitalidad.

An authentic and extraordinary stay and experience. Pieter is an amazing host and personally provided a guided tour of the castle and museum. He is extremely knowledgeable and an excellent speaker. The location is breathtaking and hiking trails are abundant. The apartment has amazing views and the mattress and pillows are of high quality. After tasting the complimentary bottle of wine produced from their vineyards, we purchased several and of different varieties. It is not an exaggeration to say that this was our favorite Airbnb stay and that we will return.

This was an extraordinarily memorable stay for my family and I. It's not everyday you get to stay in a 12th century castle! The property itself is lovely, the surroundings are incredible. Be aware, it is rustic, in every sense of the word, some dust, we met a bat, the furniture is antique, but to us this all added to the charm. Would love to return as the castle continues to be renovated. Lovely Place!

La casa es perfecta para ir con niños, en el jardín y la zona exterior se está genial. Todo estaba súper limpio y había detalles geniales para los pequeños (juguetes, platos de plástico, vaso con asas...). Las camas muy cómodas y los baños impecables. Sin duda, para repetir.

Esmeralda’s place was clean and comfortable and the yard and patio were so nice! The location was peaceful and private and easy to get to by car. Nearest market or restaurant is about 6 km away, so you may want to bring your own food. Esmeralda was fast to respond and shared helpful suggestions about nearby activities. She was wonderful to us and even spent time helping us with travel info back to Burgos. We loved our stay and our host!

La casa es estupenda y muy cómoda. No nos faltó de nada durante la estancia. Tuvimos mala suerte con el tiempo porque nos llovió los 5 días. Lugar para volver sin duda.

Sebastian and Gloria have a true gem in the beautiful Catalonian country. Close to beautiful Vic and amazing villages (one of the best bakery’s is just a short distance away!) this is a must-stop spot if you are coming to the area. The home and its history is magical and the rooms are so gorgeous and comfy - we cannot wait to get back there with our family. Gloria and Sebastian were the kindest hosts you could ask for - we felt like long time friends after the first meeting and their passion for their property is unmatched. I cannot recommend this home enough and we are are already dreaming of our return trip.

Atención TOP! Un proyecto muy bonito, mucho cuidado al detalle, se nota la pasión que le han puesto en renovar y mantener este espacio encantador. Andrea super amable, una grata sorpresa de lugar con tantos rincones por aprovechar.

Estuvimos de viaje familia y fue todo perfecto. Ignacio, el dueño de la casa, súper amable y atento con todo. Muy buena comunicación acerca de cualquier duda con la reserva, siempre responde muy rápido. La casa una maravilla, súper buenas instalaciones, muy limpio y ordenado, a parte de muy completo en relación a juegos de mesa, cocina… En general, la estancia fue muy agradable, no podríamos haber elegido mejor y no hay palabras negativas acerca del alojamiento. La familia Hidalgo espera poder volver a repetir pronto!

Staying in a room in a Spanish town-castle; fabulous! The room was simple as it should be; stone walls, wooden doors and cabinets, also wooden roof beams. The room was quiet and no disturbing noise from outside. The AC-inverter took care of heating so you couldn’t have any issues with that. Dishes and cutlery were enough for breakfast and lunch; dinner you had plenty of choices in nearby restaurants. I recommend!

Alojamiento estupendo, unas vistas espectaculares. Suelo calefactable que hace que no pases frío, un apartamento muy íntimo y es ideal para un retiro en pareja. Además los dueños son muy amables y atentos, gracias☺️

Nous avons passé un très agréable et paisible séjour dans ce très beau petit château. Tout était très propre, spacieux et convivial avec une belle touche de modernité. La piscine, éclairée la nuit, est un vrai plus. Asunción et Salvador étaient toujours disponibles et amicales.

We stayed here in April as a family with a 7 year old. This is not just a place to stay, it's a wonderful experience! The castle is gorgeous and has an interesting history, as we learned from Sebas on a really lovely tour. The grounds are magical, with lots to explore for our son (plus games, books and toys). Our apartment was on the first floor and looked better than in the photos. It had a lot of space, the fireplace was cozy and with separate bedrooms it's great to go with kids or two couples. The apartment is full of character, just what you'd expect from staying in a castle! Everything was clean and comfortable and Gloria and Sebas are the most welcoming and gracious hosts, always thinking of how to improve our stay and recommending places to go (we loved the short visits/hikes to the Monastery, the Minyona viewpoint and the Hermita, all with amazing views, and the 2 hour hike to the Salt de Sallent waterfall). All in all a wonderful stay, we'd love to come back in summer!

Wir haben zwei Nächte in der traumhaften Unterkunft übernachtet. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich. Wir wurden direkt durch das ganze Anwesen geführt. Es liegt etwas abseits wunderschön in der atemberaubenden Natur. Es gibt ein extra Gebäude mit einer wunderschönen Küche, einen großen Pool und viele Freizeitmöglichkeiten. Absolut ruhige Alleinlage, es ist unbedingt weiter zu empfehlen. Alexander
