Kid-friendly vacation rentals in St. Clair County

The home was perfect for our yearly spring fishing trip having a boat launch in the back yard and dock. We come to Logan Martin every year in April and have stayed with several other host but this place "location wise" was probably the best. Was hoping to be able to use the dock slips but they had boats in them. Also the thermostat kept changing to 80 degrees. We would leave for a couple hours fishing and come back and inside the home was hot. Other than that everything was great. Would stay again.

5 Stars! Staying at Shannon’s Place was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The space was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and had every amenity we could possibly need. Shannon was an incredible host—thoughtful, responsive, and clearly passionate about making sure guests have a wonderful experience. The neighborhood was peaceful. Highly recommend Shannon’s Place to anyone looking for a relaxing, top-notch stay!

Words cannot fully capture the warm feeling I experienced when I opened the door to Miss Roxanne's home and life. Roxanne is an artist whose art adorns the walls, creating a fabulous atmosphere. The house is well-furnished, with comfortable beds and lovely bed linens. The kitchen is well-stocked, making cooking and enjoying family meals easy. The location is beautiful and peaceful, with the lake steps away. One of the highlights of my stay was meeting Miss Roxanne and Mr.Tom, who lives next door. They are so kind and have great stories about the history of the area and their homes. The pictures do not do the home justice; it's much nicer!

My family and I loved staying here for the week for the Jr Olympics held in Anniston and Talladega. The home is beautiful inside, comfortable and roomy as described. Felt right at home. The game room and outside sitting area are bonuses!

Everything was as expected, the owner was helpful and the location was fantastic. Would recommend to friends and family.

We were coming together as a family to celebrate my father’s life. This place gave 11 of us plenty of private spaces to rest but also many areas to all come together for food and conversation: kitchen table, screened back porch with porch swing, ample back yard with fire circle, and boat dock for laying in the sun, basement man cave with wall screen. We enjoyed walking in the beautiful neighborhood. I would love to return year after year with my family. Beautiful in the spring! Flowering azaleas and dogwoods. Clean and beautiful.

This location and farmhouse were great for relaxation and just an opportunity to get away from the city. I would stay here again. Loved the front porch and Valentine, the donkey. Highly recommend this stay.

Caroline’s place was absolutely beautiful with a great waterfront view. We came in for a race at Talladega Short Track it was about a 30 min drive from the track but so worth it! Caroline was a great host and fast responding to any questions! We will definitely look this place up again when we come back to the track!

Joan's lake getaway was the perfect spot. Nested away from the hustle and bustle of the city; peace awaits you an Joan's place.

Juliana was a wonderful host! Always proactive and responsive with communication. Exterior lights were kindly left on for an after dark arrival making checking in so much easier. The stay was wonderful. Very clean and cozy accommodations. I looked forward to coming back here to rest after long days of work. Definitely saving as a favorite place to stay for when I'm in the area again. Highly recommend!

Great little place with everything you need.

This beautiful apartment is a hidden gem in the heart of the historic Downtown area of Talladega! Sunny and Rusty have truly captured the soul of this home in every detail. The entire space is ample for relaxing including a formal parlor that has a fairy tale library feel that you never want to leave. The den has a comfortable sleeper sofa and TV for gathering to watch an evening movie. The space continues with a full, well appointed kitchen with numerous luxury touches throughout. The owners have crafted a true "at home" feel with every detail. The hall bath has a huge claw foot tub for soaking that further draws you into that time period of days gone by. The Master Bedroom is located off of the den area with more fairy tale feels such as the draped bed with luxurious linens, an extremely comfortable mattress, and a beautiful en suite. This home is not another Interstate stopover, but a true experience. The church bells from across the street are, well heavenly. Highly recommend!!!

Linda was very responsive and helpful when I had an issue booking for same day. Home was very clean and has a million dollar view. We met Linda the next day and she was very friendly. The rental had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed our stay!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place! The pictures do not do it justice. It was clean, comfortable, spacious, in a safe neighborhood, not far from town but not in the middle of the hustle/bustle, close to the interstate, and perfectly located between Birmingham and Talladega. Wendy was responsive and flexible when our flight was delayed by multiple hours, and we weren’t able to arrive until the wee hours of the morning. She even left the lights on outside so we could see to get in and had water/snacks there for us. Check-in was a breeze, and check out requests were reasonable. I would not hesitate to stay here again!
