Hello dear visitors! We are a team of two passionate travellers (Ieva and Nicolas) who settled down on a faraway fjord in Iceland and are excited to meet you here. We are in the middle of our life project - renovating a beautiful old house in the centre of unpronounceable Fáskrúðsfjörður. Our little cozy studio is a result of our own imagination, we created it ourselves with lots of love and personal touch. Looking forward meeting you here and sharing our tips on discovering beautiful East.

Lower apartment 2. 28km from the Glacier Lagoon

At the heart of Vatnajökull National Park, and only a short drive from the world famous Glacier lagoon,Jökulsárlón (28km) is Neðribær apartment. Neðribær is in a 2 apartment house with private entrance. Many activities in the area such as snowmobiling, glacier jeeps and glacier walk adventure on Europe´s largest glacier, kayaking, puffins tours, boat tours, ice cave tours (winter) and horseback riding. The nearest supermarket is in Höfn (50km). FOR MAXIMUM 3 GUESTS. No exceptions!

Beautiful cabin in the woods

Relax in the beautiful woods of Úlfsstaðaskógur. This cabin comfortably sleeps 4 adults and its location makes it the perfect place to stay when exploring the eastern part of Iceland. Playgrounds for the kids are only a short walk away and Egilsstaðir are only a 10 minute drive from the cabin where you get all the service you need. Supermarkets, swimming pool, Vök-Baths natural baths and plenty of restaurants. The patio is perfect for outdoor dining in the evening sun.

Tiny Church in Stöðvarfjörður!

Peaceful cottage blue in the countryside.

Beautiful, warm and cosy cottage for 2 people. It's located in the countryside 18 km from the town Egilsstaðir on road 931. It's on the south side of the lake on the way to Hallormsstaður the biggest forest in Iceland. The next grocery store is in Egilsstaðir. Good paved road, passable all the year. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful landscape, nice hiking trails down to the lake or up to the hills, good place to see the northern lights in wintertime.

Beautiful Cottage at Kaldá Lyngholt 2

The cottage is on a small and quiet family run farm, 8 km to the town Egilsstaðir. These small houses are cozy and heated with geothermal energy, the cottages can be booked all year around. We provide linen, towels, tea and Coffee for no extra charge. The surrounding area consists of a river, trees, northern lights, beautiful nature and during the winter time you might even see some reindeers wandering around.

Berunes Tiny House for Best Friends - The Smithy

An unique Tiny House, a compact living space for friends. It is part of the Historic Farmhouse, in a former Smithy. The House is opposite the Community Church and Graveyard. Close by the popular Berunes Restaurant, open from June to August ´26. The restaurant takes pride in serving an ever-changing menu inspired by local ingredients, ensuring a delightful culinary journey during your stay.

Aurora Cabins

Húsin er staðsett um 3km frá Höfn, útsýni til fjalla og jökla. Tilvalin gisting fyrir fjölskyldur eða þá sem eru að ferðast saman. Húsin rúma fjóra fullorðna. Eitt barn yngra en 12 ára dvelur án greiðslu þegar notuð eru rúm sem eru til staðar. Frítt wifi er á staðnum.

In Fljótsdal next to the farm Hóll in Norðurdalur is Hólshýsi. A cosy cottage that is surrounded by endless adventures and sounds of nature and wildlife. Close to countless highlights such as Hengifoss, Hallormstaður, the Wilderness Center and Laugarfell.

Gíslastaðir - Cottage

The cottage is located near the owner’s farm with lovely views over the nearby stream to the mountains behind. It is around 12 Km from Egilsstaðir and is well situated for exploring the spectacular nature of East Iceland. The farm offers horse riding.

Modern beautiful apartment built in spring 2017 in a unique natural paradise in the country side. 32 sq meter studio with bathroom with a shower and well equipt kitchen. Stunning view and private terrace.
