Recommended to see in the nearby area: Old ruins from World War II. Rich island kingdom where you can walk all the way to the lighthouse. Gulatingsparken, 20 minutes by car. Bicycle paths. In the winter season you can experience the Northern Lights, or beautiful starry sky. The ferry goes across the fjord, and to Solund. (free ferry) Remember to shop before you arrive, there is no shop in Rutledal. Welcome :)

"The blue nest" Solbakken Microhouse

Enjoy the nature and the views you get when you get up to the top of this newly built Microhouse. This is the highest of the two Microhouses in Solbakken, where they are both located in the surroundings of animals and art. Gallery Solbakkestova with its beautiful sculpture garden is located just next to the house. Goats graze in front, and you can see alpacas on the other side. The house is located in a rural area, but is close to the city center and bus. Walking and cycling paths pass by, and the hiking trail up to Liafjellet is close by.

Bergen Birdbox is located on the pasture of Øvre Haukås Gård, where sheep graze all year round. In spring you can be lucky and experience panoramic views of the lambing.

Welcome to a charming, cosy house in Øyane. The house is located right next to a lake where you can enjoy fishing, swimming, canoeing, and kayaking. In winter, the lake is often suitable for ice skating. The surrounding mountains offer beautiful hiking trails, including the popular route to Vetlevarden at Storfjella, starting just outside the front door. At the end of the lake you’ll find the impressive Hesjedalfossen waterfall, only a 20-minute drive away. A free canoe is available for guests.

Gode komfortable senger (1 dobbeltseng, 1 enkeltseng og mulighet for å sette opp 1 ekstra seng), myke varme dyner og puter, saueskinn og vedfyrt ovn. Read all before you book. Romantic rustic cabin in a beautiful meadow up in the mountains. The young girls lived up here with the cows in the summer pasture and carried the milk down to the farms every day. You reach the cabin within a medium easy 1 h hike from the road, where half of the hike is on a gravelly road and the rest in forest. Use shoes for off road hiking in nature. There are fantastic hiking opportunities with stunning views, and several lakes for fishing in the immediate area.

There are beautiful nature around here, fjord and mountain view, beach with little boat, sauna and grill on the terrace. 35 minutes to Bergen and lot of hiking possibilities near by. We love pets and we have 2 little dogs.
