The holiday home is a fantastic symbiosis of history and modernity! A several hundred year old house with romantic charm has been combined here with the amenities of today: underfloor heating, modern kitchen, dimmable light. Really great! In addition, the great location in the middle of the old town, very quiet and with a great park right outside the door. Everything was clean and super equipped. Even fresh tulips were at the table! In addition, Marina arranged a bike rental for us - a great service! We rarely had such a great vacation rental!

Beautiful, quiet location, large garden. Room nice and spacious, large, open kitchen. Everything very clean and cozy.

We stayed at the Suffelmühle over Easter with 14 people. We really enjoyed the time together cooking, eating, playing, walking. Great area with castles nearby. Very quiet and peaceful. Thank you so much Inga for the beautiful hostel!

Super nice house and nice quiet location to relax and come down! We felt right at home and were totally impressed by the accommodation. Restaurants, grocery stores, bakers and a small beach bar in the vicinity and total idyll. Many beautiful hiking routes from the property even without a car. The house was super equipped and totally well coordinated. Every corner of the house invited you to relax. Felix and Holger were friendly, uncomplicated and quickly accessible. We definitely recommend it! Not unlikely that we will come again:)

We had a very nice weekend among friends here. The house is cozy and very well equipped for cooking together. The rooms and beds were very clean and everything was in very good condition. We will be happy to come back.

Great place for larger groups on a weekend - everything there for cooking etc. Everything was clean. However, you should not expect great luxury.

We traveled with 5 people and 2 dogs from 3 directions to a family celebration nearby. It was a perfect place to stay and we felt very comfortable.

Thanks to the detailed information about the apartment and the check-in, we had a great stay and were able to fully enjoy our time. Our host answered all our questions very quickly. The description and photos match and we didn't miss anything. The location was great - just a few steps from the rehab and about 5-10 minutes' walk to downtown. We were even greeted at Christmas time with a chocolate Santa Claus. If we visit Bad Essen again, we will definitely choose this apartment again!

Karin received me very kindly. She's a great host and the stay was nice and straightforward. Her husband is also very kind and the reception by the dogs hearty I can only recommend it 😃

We had booked a 4-day stay and wanted to celebrate Christmas with the family near the accommodation. But then everything changed. Thanks to Heike's flexibility and understanding, we were able to spend a relaxing time in the beautiful apartment (decorated with a lot of love, for every little detail). Overall a really perfect stay. The house was exactly as presented and hoped. Plenty of space, plenty of sleeping options, sauna, bathtub, great kitchen and and and... Sabrina also left the pool "open" so that we could take ice baths before and after each sauna session. Simply phenomenal and highly recommended. Note on the four star categories. Here I was extremely petty. The location is on a busy road and not in the countryside - it didn't bother us, but maybe you should know. The apartment was also super clean and tidy but of course you notice that people usually live in it. And that didn't bother us, but it's not a five-star hotel. As mentioned - I was now very petty, so I don't give out five stars everywhere! 😅 But overall highly recommended for six people!

Excellent accommodation in quiet and beautiful surroundings.

The country house apartment was just great! The apartment is very chicly furnished. It's easy to feel right at home. We particularly enjoyed the terrace. It was just wonderful to have breakfast there. Gesa and Heiko are very friendly hosts who also proactively ask if everything is great or if something bothers you. When we had an issue, Gesa and helped very quickly and easily, which we liked very much - thank you again! We would check in again without hesitation!

We had a very nice family holiday at the hideaway and it met our expectations one hundred percent. The house is very beautifully located from there, from there you can take many hikes or even start further distant sights by car. The house is very cozily furnished and we felt totally comfortable. The communication with Andreas was great. We would love to come again :-)

We spent the holidays in Dissen and the apartment was great! Everything was well maintained, super furnished and clean. Tue communication was also very good.

Great stopover during our travel from Germany to Netherlands. House was very comfortable and easy to check-in. Great coffee machine!

My partner, our dog and I had a wonderful weekend in Horn-Bad-Meinberg. The place was exactly as stated, we felt very comfortable and we didn't miss anything. Many attractions are just around the corner. The quiet location of the place was perfect for getting away from it all, we woke up in the morning by birds chirping, it was all perfect. There were two of us with a dog at the property for a weekend trip. Beautiful large meadow for the dog and the sunny terrace is great!😍 There is a fantastic walk nearby.

Alfons and Pamela have created a wonderful place with their house in Mettingen where you immediately feel comfortable. We spent Easter there with the extended family and it was just perfect: plenty of space, lovingly furnished and with a fantastic garden that invites you to linger. Even in the rain, it is wonderfully cozy inside, and there are many nice excursion destinations in the area – so there is no boredom. Alfons and Pamela gave us great tips that enriched our stay. Thank you for this relaxing time, the nice communication in advance and the beautiful Easter in Mettingen . We can highly recommend it!
