Close to Brighton and Gatwick, Amberley Cottage is situated in a tranquil setting at the edge of the picturesque historic town of Steyning. There is direct access onto the Downs Link. The beautiful South Downs Way passes through the town. Amberley Cottage has a lovely corner plot including a small secluded sunny courtyard which provides private access to the cottage, and is ideal for guests wanting to bring their dog. There is a private parking bay & secure bike storage should you need it.
What guests are saying:“Jed’s cottages are located in a lovely area surrounded by countryside and close to all the local amenities on Steyning village high street. The cottage was clean, had plenty of space for us and Jed was very accommodating for our 2 month old baby, we used Jed’s travel cot and it worked very well. The little touches were fantastic, there was a bottle of wine and some lemon cake on arrival as well as milk in the fridge. Thank you Jed for a great stay, we would definitely consider staying again in the future!”
A beautiful family home on a quiet residential road just a few minutes walk from the heart of the village with views of the South Downs. You will have use of a large clean kingsized bedroom with an en-suite shower bathroom, separated by a lockable lobby area giving privacy and quiet. There is a further annexed internal bedroom with a large double futon sofa bed which can be used to house two further guests with Jack and Jill access to the en-suite, but this will remain empty if not needed.

The spacious first floor bedroom has a king size bed, walk-in cupboard and Juliet balcony, and the ground floor comprises a generous sitting room, kitchenette and shower room. Steps lead from the patio doors in the sitting room into a small vegetable garden, growing mainly salad crops and herbs, which is intended mainly for use by Garden Cottage guests.
