Beachfront vacation rentals in Strafford County

The home was just what we were looking for to spend a quiet but fun week with our intergenerational family. Any quesitons we had we quickly answered. The hosts reached out to us to ensurer we had everything we needed and were enjoying ourselves. We are booking agian for next year.

Very nice inn at a very quiet and peaceful location. Check in was easy, and clerk walked us right to our room to show us its location. Room was very comfortable and perfect for relaxing after exploring the area during the day. As described, the room had a mini fridge, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker (with pods), as well as tv with many channel options. The lake that the inn overlooks is beautiful, and we did hear loons calling in the morning. It seems that there are lots of activities to do on the property, but we didn't have enough time to explore them during our short stay. The only slight criticism I would include was the fact that there was no maid service on the room between our first and second nights stay. It would have been nice to have had some new towels, and some replacement pods for the coffee maker that we had used on the first morning. Again, a very slight criticism that really didn't affect a very pleasant stay. I can see us staying there again in the future.

This was our 2nd stay at the Red Cabin. We and our dog enjoyed our stay and love the peace, quiet, sunsets, and loons of Chalk Pond and the Selt trails nearby. We tried some new restaurants and recommend Ellacoya and The Breeze for dinner and Ames Farm Inn for breakfast. We highly recommend staying here. Both hosts are great!

The team at Vacanza were very responsive, responded immediately to all inquiries. I found them flexible, honest, and interested in how we were enjoing our stay. We booked Steve’s place for a weekend getaway with the dogs. The house was very dog friendly, complete with doggie bowls and blankets to put on the furniture. The hot tub location was perfect, great view of the pond and felt really private. Well-equipped kitchen for a weekend getaway. There is a cast iron pan was great for cooking up the duck breasts I brought! Small general store in walking distance but definitely bring everything you think you will need food wise. There was a listing of local places which was helpful also. Will probably return later in the year to take advantage of the kayaks!

Rich and Robin are very friendly and easy to work with. everything was what we expected from the other reviews, it's their reviews that made the final decision for us. All of us have had some disappointing getaways in the past. which made us really shop around for this getaway we were pleasantly surprised with our stay everything was as expected, we will definitely go back.

Mark and Susan are superbly gracious hosts. The cottage is a sweet little place to stay and enjoy the beautiful lake and charming town of Wolfeboro. We kayaked and swam and sat by the water taking in the gorgeous setting. Loved listening to the loons call at night as we slept with most of our screened windows opened. Very special.

Tammy’s place was the most perfect getaway! This cute cottage was a great spot for our honeymoon. It was secluded and quiet with a private dock to the lake. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor space for us to enjoy a little bit of everything. We got to take the boat onto the water and just relax in the sun. We used the fully stocked and prepared kitchen to cook many meals that we enjoyed on the closed deck. Tammy was kind and helpful from the moment we booked. This was a steal, I highly recommend!!

Kira was a very responsive host. The description of the home was accurate we are sad that so much time was spent away at the wedding we were in the area for. The road to get to her home is a little rough but nothing the host can do about that. All in all beautiful spot!!!! Coffee on deck my favorite ❤️

Gary and Nick were wonderful hosts, extremely accommodating and very communicative and flexible. The surroundings alone were so picturesque , each morning and dawn was like a painting - I’ll be back for sure !

Justin is a very friendly and attentive host! He met us and answered all our questions. Also before check out he sent me clear and understandable instructions. The house is very cozy and charming. The kitchen has everything to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner. The outside area is very beautiful with many cute decorations. Fire pit with chairs are amazing! Sandy little beach, my son loved playing there. There are beach toys in the house. Special thanks for the very easy access to the pond - steps. We loved canoeing!

We had a wonderful fall weekend! The house was just as described and very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked and grill easy to use. The kids loved the outdoor gear (kayaks and paddle boards) and even got in the water (brrr). Melissa was very responsive before during and after the stay. We went on a hike up Abbott mountain that was fantastic with views to the White Mountains- highly recommended if you get a clear day. We’d love to come back. No complaints at all!

We had a great stay celebrating our sons 21st birthday. Slept 12 comfortably with lots of space for kids/teens to enjoy. Big kitchen area to cook in, beautiful views all over the house. Would definitely rent again

Our stay at this lake house was absolutely amazing! The peaceful surroundings and stunning lake views made it the perfect retreat from everyday life. The house itself was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved spending time on the deck, taking in the sunsets, and enjoying the serene atmosphere. The host Paul, was super responsive and made sure we had a great experience. If you're looking for a relaxing lakeside escape, this is the place to be. We'll definitely be returning!

Lucky Ducks Lake House was perfect for our family get together (11 people, kids and adults). The kitchen is large and open, a big table to seat everyone, plenty of beds, dishes, glasses and games. We really enjoyed the fireplace and 2 living spaces. The house was spotless and it was obvious it was recently renovated with nice fixtures and furniture. We were there in December but it would be amazing in the summer!
