Romantic new cottage with veranda on the waterfront and spacious private garden, in the middle of nature and bird area between Alkmaar and Hoorn. Enjoy the peace, the view, spacious bathroom with shower and bathtub or go on an adventure with the canoe into the polder. The Meadow Cottage feels like a secluded private paradise, but is surprisingly centrally located in North Holland. Whether you want to cycle, hike, fish, birdwatch, explore villages or just do absolutely nothing. This is the place where you catch your breath.

This double farmhouse dates from the 17th century. A beautiful holiday home of more than 100m2 has recently been built in the front house behind the barn doors. All facilities are located on the ground floor. Such as a spacious sitting area with views of the West-Frisian Circular Dyke, a cooking island and a spacious bathroom with a free-standing bath and separate shower. There is a garden with a terrace. The sea is within cycling distance, where the quietest beaches of the Netherlands are located.

Het is een plek om te onthaasten, af te zonderen van het drukke leven en te genieten van samenzijn.

The location is ideal for excursions. The center of Schagen is 250 meters away by foot, the beach is 10 minutes away by car or 25 minutes away by bike.

Our lodge is equipped with all modern amenities, such as a modern kitchen, a smart TV and a Quooker. The cozy veranda is complete with a luxurious jacuzzi and wood-burning stove. The lodge, with its large private garden and unobstructed views, is completely separated from the farmhouse by a fence and is accessible only to you as a guest. From the Finnish barrel sauna on the adjacent terrace, you look out over the picturesque city meadows. A delicious breakfast is available upon request.

Come completely relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and of course the sea and the beach. Holiday home Froietoid is very fully equipped and has perfect beds with free bedding (also made up for free). We make the beds for you free of charge. We do not rent to groups of young people. Swimming pool is open from May to mid-September.

Heerlijk wandelen. Mooie motor en fietsroutes door de polder, paardrijden, een dagje strand en/of bos of bezoek een leuke stad! Het kan allemaal vanaf deze heerlijke centraal gelegen plek. Het strand 8 km (10min), Schagen (westfriese markt) 5km (10min), Alkmaar (kaasmarkt) 16km (20min),Callantsoog (20min), Bergen (22min) Schoorl (25min), Amsterdam 58 km (50 min). Neem uw huisdier of paard mee! Wij verwelkomen beide graag, dus informeer naar de mogelijkheden.

Helaas is ons appartement niet geschikt voor kinderen, ivm sloot op het terrein. Ook is het mogelijk om elektrische fietsen te huren ! (25,-per fiets per dag) Direct WiFi verbinding voor thuiswerken.
