Go for a hike on our local trails, explore the many breweries in Bellingham, visit the beach in Birch Bay, bike the county roads, or enjoy a scenic drive on the Mt. Baker Highway. Then come back to a unique, cozy TINY HOUSE. Roast marshmallows around the campfire, snuggle up and watch a movie on Netflix, and relax with a cup of coffee on the front porch in the morning. Breathe easy in the trees in our lovely little guest space — located on the bottom floor of our house. We're located 5 minutes from some beautiful trailheads for hiking, and 10-15 minutes from Fairhaven and Bellingham for food, shops, etc. A cozy nook to shower, write, reflect, drink some tea or coffee, and get a good rest before your next adventure. California King bed, full kitchen, shower and bathtub, with epsom salts if you want to soak after a long day.

Close to Galbraith mountain 20 min from downtown Bellingham where you will find great restaurants, breweries, and fun places to hang out.

This private little cottage makes a great getaway destination. Enjoy a quiet retreat with serene views of a pond and nature. Relax by the gas stove after a day of skiing, biking or exploring Bellingham. Read a book on the deck while the blue heron fishes or deer stroll through to eat fallen apples. Situated on 5 acres, explore the grounds or cozy up in your guest cottage located across the yard from the main house.

The Walnut Hut

Unique and tranquil getaway. The Walnut hut is a cozy rustic cabin on our 9 acre permaculture biodynamic farm. Peaceful country setting. We are about 6 miles from Bellingham, Lynden and Ferndale, and 17 miles from the Canadian border. Seasonal Farmstand. Farm tours available by appointment. Shared bathroom with shower in a nearby building, and an outdoor kitchen usually available April thru October.
