The old house at Solnes Gard

Part of duplex on active farm. We are the third generation to run the farm after my husband's grandparents got the farm as a wedding gift. Here you get to stay in the original farmhouse from about 1950. We live in the other part of the residence ourselves. Cozy place, fully furnished and with everything you need for shorter or longer stays. We have 8 alpacas and many goats on the farm, you can join in on the care on demand and if we have the opportunity in a busy everyday life when we are in full work and have four small children.

Nearest town is Førde which is 30 mins away. Haukedalsvatnet is about 500 meters away from the cabin, where you can buy a fishing license. Here is a nice place to find peace.

The cabin is beautifully located by Jølstervannet, close to the E39 highway (this means traffic noise) in an area with scattered cabins. Jølster offers beautiful nature good fishing opportunities in Jølstervannet which is known as a very good fishing water. Here is a great hiking terrain with marked hiking trails. From the cabin it is a short distance to the shop, golf course and Jølster ski centre. Jølster can offer cultural experiences, local crafts, art museum. From the cabin it is walking distance to Tindefjelle and Steinegga.
